It wasn’t because Haak needs to cover Plummer, it’s because there’s no second OH on court, Carraro was on court. Haak has to pass, otherwise there’s only De Gennaro and Plummer.

Why dont Karch make Plummer play Opp? I am sure she will not do worse than Cuttino.
I heard Plummer herself wants to play OH. But I mean, having Plummer play OPP for just one tournament given JT's absence/unavailability is more beneficial to the team IMO. I don't think KP would refuse this proposal if made to her.
