Wang Yindi has very promising potential 🤩 years ago I used to look forward to Dong Mingxiao who apparently never lived up the expectations 😅

I doubt ZCN will ever be a TOP player again.. looks like her leg injury in 2018 really affected her vertical. 😢 I also like Zhuang and Wang YF. I would love to see them playing in the A-Team… fighting spirit is as much important as strong spikes and good reception 👍🏻

The problem was bringing Jin Ye and Wang Yizhu who offered nothing. Wu Mengjie should've had one of their spots if chosen.

She is a decent player but we don’t need DECENT players. She might have made some key points but it was by pure luck cuz most of the time she hits the ball without thinking and without knowing what to do.. and her approach to spike has no timing at all. Moreover, she can’t dig. Even ZT with her 198cm is a better digger. Everybody saw her and JY’s dreadful performance during VNL. No point in bringing them at the WCH.

Carol is 1.83 and So is Gabi. I can’t recall any Chinese player who has that kind of athleticism. (Wu Han was not as explosive as the former two)

I would have given space to Wu MJ (to say the least). She has a great reach and powerful spikes.. she just needs to polish her reception. What was the point to bring WYL? Not to mention JY and Chen P.??? We need athletic / reactive player and none of them seems to be… 🥲

I would love to have Lavarini or even Guidetti as coach.

Zhu won everything not just because she was (/is) the Best but also because she had the support of huge squad with incredible players such as ZCN HRQ YN DX and fearless YXY. A complete team where she could shine brightly. Unfortunately, in comparison, LYY has WYL and JY, injuried GXY and no MB…🥲

Hopefully ZT can join her: the most lethal duo.😎

For the remaining questions I think Yes DX will retire, hopefully she can contribute as assistant coach. Young players need to play more… next year especially cuz we got nothing to lose 😅

Gong could skip the entire season, to recover physically and mentally.

All MB need indeed to play abroad, hope the CV officials understand it 😅

We missed ZT over the block hits during crunch time. Definitely.

Gao Yi made more blocks in the 10 she played than YXY in the entire match 😭 I noticed that Yuan goes up with open and soft arms and she does not look at the ball but closes her eyes…

WYL needs to lose at least 5 kg. This could help also her vertical which is quite poor for being 1.92😅

Jiangsu has some interesting 16/17 y.o. MB 😏😂 I still hope Gao Yi delivers it.. she has an unique athleticism, similar to ZT.

A healthy ZT would have lit up the Morale and everybody would have played knowing they could REALLY win every match. That’s the most important thing, rather than her own performance.

Li has matured. ZT + LYY is gonna be TERRIFIC. Maybe the most powerful duo in CV history.

I loved the “2016 Grand Prix” ZCN when she was probably the best player in the world: great vertical, hard spikes over the block and fearless attitude. Unfortunately she never regained that condition 😢 though I still think she is the best chinese outside hitter along with ZT and LYY. The latter has improved constantly and her reception is very stable I would say.

Hopefully Gong and Yuan deliver it today. LYY needs more contribution from the two veterans. 加油 ！

Looks like it’s gonna be Italy… hope they can receive well and fight hard for every single point. Maybe playing more combos, which they didn’t play in the previous match.

At the least the pressure is not on them (clearly Italy is favourite)

I really hope they can have a rematch against ITA in the QF.. so that they can prove their value.😅 I do think they will give a better fight to Italy this Time
