I wonder if any European team is interested to bring in Lee Jae Young. She has been a scoring machine in SKorea League and now has been slowly taking bulk of the scoring load from KYK. She's also a pretty decent passer and digger. Although she might be a little bit short in blocking. Your thoughts?

Poland had the chance to take the match since they are up by 1. Had Stysiak made a mistake on that play then the game would have only been tied at deuce. She has free reign to smack that ball as hard as she can knowing that the game will still continue even if she commits an error. Personally I would have gambled on this play since Stysiak had the best terminating offense that game. I'll encourage her to engage that ball as aggressively as she can even if two blockers are standing on her way.
But when she was set that ball that gave Turkey the 4th set she was under a lot of pressure. Any mistake will make them lose a set. So she cannot be as aggressive as she may want to. So those were to say the least not very comfortable balls.
I rest my case.

Oh please. How was she supposed to do when she had a bunch of mediocre players who happened to be underperformed?
She could have made better choices. Stysiak had the hot hands when they were at match point and she was actually a front line attacker. Why would you set to a back line attacker?

IMO, i am trying to convince myself that "all-tournament team" was kinda composed up with the most shining stars (no matter what their positions are) from the top four teams, for example 3 players from the champion team, 2 from the vice-champion, 1 from each of the semifinalists.
badly, this is can also regarded as a reflection that not too many potential blockers remarkable yet, at least for the tournament of 2019.
I like Pressley, she deserves "the player of year". she participated almost all the games and kept the consistent high performances for all tournament round. while. Plummer was absent for a while due to injury.
Would love to see Madeleine Gates as the other MB in the All Tournament Team! She had only 1 hitting error the entire tournament! That is insane!
