    ITALIA - TURCHIA 3-2 (25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 22-25, 15-12)

ITALIA: Sylla 18, Fahr 3, Malinov 1, Bosetti 7, Folie 19, Sorokaite 20. Libero: De Gennaro. Orro, Danesi 6, Nwakalor 3, Parrocchiale, Pietrini 8.

TURCHIA: Yildirim 12, Kalac 2, Boz 13, Baladin 20, Akman 8, Ozbay 3. Libero: Sarioglu. Zehra, Kalac 2, Yilmaz 7. N.e: Akoz, Ercan, Ismailoglu, Erdem, Karakurt.

Did u just forget to write Egonu`s name or she was not there at all for this game? I hope she`s ok.

She is definitely one of the big reasons of Turkish success last 2 seasons, this should not be forgotten just like that. When I first saw Turkey under Özbay guidance I was actually shook, I never saw our team play such a fun game before. This all means no shade to Naz btw, she is definitely a world-class setter. I'm just stating my opinion and how I saw things.

It`s gonna be a major setback in her career if Maja ends up as the starting setter next season. I hope not, because it would more beneficial more Maja playing less while for Cansu playing more. I have a feeling Gui will do this, if Turkey qualifies next week, he will have Cansu starting the whole season, if Turkey does not then he might start Cansu till January, then if Turkey qualifies he keeps her starting, if they don`t he goes with Maja as starter.

I don`t see the point of replacing Sylla with Parrocchiale in a friendly game. It is very unlikely Parrocchiale will make the Tokyo roster, unless he truly takes her as a OH or leave Sorokaite out.

Just let Sylla pass...she will learn from it.

Eczacibasi already made a mistake with setter choice.

They won't win anything and will have another wasted season unless Gamze is the starting setter and plays like she did with Gala. ( I love Hande but she won't hold the pass for a big team, as OH she should play for a smaller one).

A lot of coaches and team members does not have enough time to watch other teams and leagues. So they will sign players based on their reputation and their nationality, while totally ignoring their current level of play and even their actual abilities.

I'm not sure about other sports, but in women's volleyball a lottttt of teams are not well put together at all. That's why we often see such a low level of play and big disparity among teams.

I honestly think these players are influenced by their managers to sign with a bigger club that eventually is paying them more money. So the agent ends ups making more money if they sign with Vakifbank or Hisamtisu... And this is something that has been mentioned here before.

Another thing is. The clubs does not care for the NT success...of course they want them to win, but for the owners and coaches their club success is what matters. So they don't care if they sign a local player with a lot of potential knowing she won't get to play.

But getting the best facilities, coaches and all that could be a factor also. But I don't believe any player will ever improve if they don't get to play.

Congrats to the U16 Turkish team!Unfortunately is not the first time Turkey win big medals at young level! The key is what will happen between 16 - 20 years old!Dear managers and families... in the next 4 years don’t put money in front of good training and playing in the court

so why do you (Gui) keeps signing all the talented young Turkish players and keep them on the bench? ... :hit:

Very disappointing that Vasileva and Rabadzhieva won`t play. I understand they don`t like the coach, but still, not every player like their coach and still they play. This is not patriotic at all.

it's not only the problem of the Serbian NT, as far as I know the same problems exist in the Russian NT. I don't want to use the name of the player or players, have been reluctant to join the national team.

On the one hand, I can understand them to some extent, yes they have played too much in their clubs maybe need to have some rest. On the other hand, I think it's unfair for the rest of the players who are joining the national team regardless of their tiredness.

Yeah, and Stevanovic is still young and as far as I know she`s not injured or anything. If she had been injured this past season and wanted some rest that would be fine. But like I said she`s looking good on the workout videos she`s posting.

It makes me sad, I understand Serbia has a bunch of middles that can fill her role, but still, Stevanovic is one of the very best and she should be with the NT. I just hope somehow she and Terzic can get over this next summer because they do need her.
