Barbolini is such a rubbish coach.

Belien was great in third set but not putting her in 4th. What the hell.

He destroys every team he coached…Eczacibasi and now Scandicci

Really really sad for vakifbank. 14:12 in the golden set, 2 match points...still lose.

I have not much expectation from VB in the beginning of the season because it’s formed by a branch of young inexperienced local player. But when the victory comes so close, I still feel disappointed.

I am very upset right now. China lost in the semi;( with such a close match. 17:15:wall: My dream final is gone.

Please Tijana and Serbia destory the Italian team in the final! They are just not likeable tbh.

Hope Serbia and China will win tmr and hope Yan Ni can grab one individual award.

OMG. Tbh I think Zhu Ting’s presence covers some problems of the Chinese NT, like they rely less on reception bcz Zhu Ting can kill the ball anyway. But when Zhu is not on court, the importance of reception increases sharply. Otherwise, they can’t run the middle and their Wing spikers can’t handle the bad sets. Just like today’s performance.

However win/lose is not much cared by the Chinese NT and coaches imo. You know, China is the host of finals. They qualify anyway. Jenny Lang Ping always want to give her players some challenges and see how they deal with the pressure in some relatively unimportant games, obviously this match is one of those. Winning of course is great, but loss might not be bad. I just love the dare-to-lose attitude from Jenny.
Well, there is another interesting thing. Vakifbank also has the same problem as China NT!

Exactly! This is the so-called zhuting’s side effect.

I am fan of zhuting. but I have to say Zhuting's receiving is also not good in 2013 world grand prix~~~ Yingying Li will also experience this suffering period~~~ receiving collapsing

Yup, zhu’s reception is not that good in 2013 gp but she somehow managed to kill the ball and score score score. Yingying didn’t today. Never mind. Take this a lesson and train more. Best wishes to team China.

As I wrote before, the TV sign saying "Gözde Kirdar - Most Valuable Player" when they showed her name when she went to serve already yesterday probably means that she was meant to be MVP even before the tournament. Knowing CEV I assume Vakifbank handed them over a little extra money in order to have Gözde receive this farewell gift

However I'm not saying she doesn't deserve it at all. She's the glue that holds Vakifbank together with her passion and quality in all elements, and she's been that for many years, even if she has never been their biggest star. She's impossible to replace IMO, it's a role that players grow into over many years and the question is who's next to grow into that role for Vakifbank.

But she is not the only one showing “most valuable player “ with her name on TV. I remember same situation happened in another player from the host team. Therefore, I think this is only a broadcasting mistake.

Yes...zhu plays her worst match of the life today and the whole VB team is just a mess (except racis and Robinson). ECZ is on fire, they blocks good, defence good, serve good.

However, while this not-in-form VB is against this on-fire ECZ, they still manage to take it into a 5 sets match. That gives me some confidence that VB can get the next 2 matches.
