she really is a good player though, I haven't watched her much last season, maybe her performance dropped but I totally agree with runnerupster that she is underrated and for a team like Goztepe she should be more than enough. She has already proved that before when she was in Turkiye, she was pretty good.

I heard on the studio after one game of Polish team during the WCH, someone (Bednaruk I think?) said that he talked with Kasia Skorupa who is an agent now and she told him that those less popular Asian leagues rn invest a lot in volleyball and offer very high contracts and I think gave the example of the Vietnamese League. I don't remember the exact words. Indonesia is also the case, Irina herself already played there.
For such short tournaments, I think it's really good they manage to sign good players like her. Makes the league way more interesting and competitive.
