Hillstate is really the strongest team for now in my book... I'm kind of amaze with their floor defense.. It's like every player in Hillstate has been diligently practicing digs...Even their MBs are good at digs,. Adding their "wall" in front of the net...

Kim Da In's style is more or less like LDY, especially the long cross toss from right to left that have high success rate.. Really like LDY..

I'm glad Jung Ji Yun is getting sharper and sharper on her spikes.

They shouldn't lost the 3rd set...

It's coincidental that KGC won the 3rd when Yeum HS is replaced.... Though they couldn't do much in the 4th set....

So their win vs PS was just a "fluke".. PS hasn't form a solid team, and Altos has more experienced players.. nothing to do with KSN ...

but then they met more solid teams with good coach, while KSN is still inexperienced acting head coach, so they lost both in a row.. Being a head coach is hard..

KSN is only "acting" with 0 experience with, I'm only guessing, limited knowledge on tactics and team management.. Also leading a messed up team..

I don't think any outside known coach want to become the Head Coach, with that situation on the club.. Altos only option is promoting one of those assistant coaches.. I wonder if Nam Ji Yeon is still there and whether she took courses for coaching..

I like that Cha Sang Hyun utilizes his bench players well, from last season and even now without Soyoung

It's very unlike typical v-league fashion on relying on a single starting line-up and a single ace

That's consistent their motto that they put on that large banner in the stadium after they won the final: "Nobody is bigger than the team." :)

Though I just watched snippets of it, I'm surprised the "rookie" setter got her 2nd MVP in her 2nd match...

She shows potential to be the next Lee Hyo Hee...

So tight between rank 2nd, 3 rd, and 4th, the defeat each other.... Only Hillstate is "lonely at the top"..:D

There are only a few senior players in Altos that I'm guessing have that kind of "influence".. only 4 that I'm sure of .. though 1 of them I'm not sure is still around this season...

But this kind of rumor is really not good,,, I just hope it will not blow up out of proportion that spread to other teams as well.

    Hipass

Not sure if it's solely a Park Jeongah problem or a PJA-setter matching problem but Park Jeongah keeps landing on her butt after spiking. Happens with both Lee Goeun and Lee Yunjung. Kelsie looks completely fine every time she spikes.

    I just notice that...LOL

I think she didn't have problem like that with Lee Hyo Hee.. Also with Yeum HS, LDY, and An HJ in NT ...

Just watch replay of PAOK vs Lamia...

Despite not LDY best performance, with few miss sets, still the attackers seem look sharp and success rates are high.. so they can still won straight set..

Are foreigners in Lamia all from Latin America? I just based from their names.. No.9 (Halo in her shirt's name) in particular is very good , and i think almost half the pts for Lamia is from her...PAOK seems only on 3rd set can stop few of her spikes...

Just realised that KIM Jong-Min went with rookie LEE Yun-Jung [S] as the starting setter for the match.

Great news for Hyundai E&C as KGC Ginseng dropped at least a point against Korea Expressway Hi-Pass to make up for that point they lost against AI Pepper.

At first I was confused of what are you writing about...

Then I watched new highlight on Hi-Pass vs KGC, now I understand... :)

Amazing, a rookie setter become an MVP in a straight set match against KGC... Is she gonna be the next Lee Hyo Hee for Hi-Pass?

Very unfortunate for KGC, no point today...Lee Soo Young isn't much help...

Surprisingly it's a tight match Hillstate vs Altos... Hillstate's wall is not so solid this time.. Luckily Jasmeen is on fire... Good performance by rookie no.19 in set 3. She is on 4 pts service run with 2 aces....made Hillstate lead 1 pt from trailing 3 pts...turned the match around...

Altos is better than before.. More solid teamwork and performance.. Kim HJ play MB in 2 sets and OP/OH in the other 2 sets.. I hope she is not too strained... The foreigner is only play half set 1 and set 4.. She did not perform well..

Kixx 3-0 Pepper... Pepper seems only good when they play vs Altos... Turn out that's because Altos is a full of problems team.. I know it's a new team and all, I hope they improve each round....

Cho Song Hwa... When she was in Pink Spider, she was so quiet in the news front.. When she moved to Altos, last season, she was already made news by showing up in Kim SJ instagram post in the background "served" by her junior.. So controversial that Kim SJ deleted the post...

This season she is on the news again...

Maybe Pink Spider was good in covering for her back then? Well, they had LJY that very news worthy that can covered other players' news... :D

Are these matches last night? PAOK just lost 2-3 then last night won 3-0 vs Thetis? Back to back matches on the schedule? Sorry, I'm confused, because PAOK channel is quiet since the lost match, no news that they won against the same team....

    Just watch PAOK v Thetis...

    What a match!!!

5 set with tie break in every set... must be exhausting....

Very good defense from Thetis, while PAOK is not so good .. That tallest player from Thetis (sorry, don't know her name) is MVP for me.. She's so sharp in attack and very good at blocking n digging...

First taste of lost for LDY since she joined... don't know if it affected the ranking....

    Pepper vs Hillstate..

Hillstate is not as good as before, but still dominant to the point the coach can play the subs (Lee Na Yeon, Hwang YJ, and Jung Ji Young)...

Too bad Pepper is even worse.. Too many errors made ...

Another Hillstate player got MVP: Lee Da Hyeon... seems even MVP is rotated between Hillstate players...:D

Just watch some of the replay KGC vs IBK...

Lee SY seems good and enjoy her play... got another MVP... She can be the "ace" for KGC just like the 4 I mentioned in my previous comment.. I hope she's not injured again...

No KHJ made IBK lost 0-3, instead the usual 1-3...:D

I say IBK foreigner is not good....

On side note, If I'm not wrong KGC coach was IBK coach's assistant back then.. So ex-assistant beat his former boss twice already.. Even better this 2nd match he is not on the court, only his assistant (due to the red card last match before).. Still beat the former boss...:)

PS doesn't look like PS without LJY tbh, their franchise player for so long, but anyway that's long past and over now

I do miss her playing as well as foreigners in the league though (her spikes... so amazing to watch)

I'm impressed by Lee Juah stepping up, though still early in season and YHJ doesn't play as much since Hillstate has many MBs

Yes.. Her spike is very satisfying to watch.....

There are only 4 K-players so far (that I know of) that can be trusted by their teams to score equally high as their foreigners, because they're really consistent in scoring: KYK (only few seasons in SK but still score so high), Hwang Yoon Joo (the best and only natural OPP that SK ever produced), Yang HJ ( though last few seasons her pts getting lower) and LJY....

I thought Park JA could be another one.. but she couldn't, whit her "one style" spike: hit hard ....

I have high expectation for Kang SH ad Lee Soo Young that now they are on separate teams, despite they seem still inconsistent so far.. It's really not easy to bear the responsibility as the real ace in scoring.. I hope they can improve...
