She got exposed badly as a starter against Hyundai. They scored like 5-6 points (don't really remember exactly) targeting her very early in the first set. In particular, Rousseaux was feasting on her with the serve. So she got subbed out really quick.

I guess as a rookie it's possible that could "destroy" her confidence...I hope she recover fast...

Reading the stats, what happened to Lee Seon Woo? I thought being MVP of their last match made KGC put her on the court again, at least as a playing sub... Choi Eun Ji and Ji Min Kyeong perform badly ..Diouf worked alone, again... I guess KGC coach hasn't trust LSW yet...

    A little late..I

Pink Spider v Kixx.. haven't watch thereplay, only read the match sats:

No Lucia had impact on Pink Spider attack... They can only share between KYK and LJY, according to the amount of swings they both had.. I think 67 is the most swings KYK had, usually around 40-50 per match. Same with LJY, even more 72 swings...

Meanwhile Kixx has 3 good attackers ... Lutz in her top form after got MVP for R2...

KGC v Altos, just based on stats:

Congrats to KGC coach for finding good rookie, Lee Seon Woo... She can share Diouf burden on attack... good prospect...

What happened with Lazareva? She seems declining each match... Not fit? Predictable to defend? not sync with setter?

And Kim Hee Jin? Placing her as MB seems make her performance worst.....Bad decision...

KGC seems won the match "easily"....

like sitenoise mentioned: aside from the player "capacity", it is depended on the coach decision as well...

It seems Pink Spider coach made example of such decision.. Correct me if I'm wrong, in R1 v Hi-Pass, Pink Spider lost the first 2 sets.. Then in 3rd set LDY was subbed out to Kim Da Sol.. KDS isn't subbed again, and Pink Spider won the last 3 sets with her as setter.... She seems has strong mentality that can prevail under pressure, and has skill that can supply settings for LJY, KYK, and Lucia...

I'd say KDS has better prospect then KDI to become next gen setter for SK in general... Of course anything can happen in the future..:)

    KGC v Hillstate:

It's kind of messed up match.... like every one is on their bad day or something... heck, even LDY is not on form .. miss timing and miss-placing her sets more than all her matches before this one combined I think.... Luckily, Pink Spider has sniper servers... That last year rookie Park and Kim Mi Yeon bombarded Hillstate and made them scattered.....Lucia also got several aces....

    Really, not an interesting match.....

No Lucia in the last match vs Hi Pass... Is something wrong with her?

kind of surprise Altos in 2nd place.... Lazareva really gives them a lot of firepower...

I like that audiences start filling the stadium, though subdued by the masks and seating arrangements... gave different atmosphere with audience...

Only 2 matches so far, but Pink Spider has the most "fearsome" attack forces... KYK, LJY, and Lucia have avg 20+ pts each.... left, right, and back attack covered by 3 of them nicely so far... if the MBs are also effective in attacking, I can't imagine....

Their defense is still shaky but not bad... using 2 liberos, and LJY has double duties as additional libero with the amounts of digs she had..... I hope they can keep improving...

Hillstate is also still good so far ... Helene is good.. Kim Da In plotted as the main setter, not many sets to Yang HJ...

Can't wait for the 2 teams to meet.....

i was wondering about Pink Spider libero.. I thought that will be their "weakness", after Kim HR retired.. I didn't know that they signed up Park Sang Mi.. She was good when played for Altos..

I think KYK will attract more "views" for the league from local as well as abroad...

Is KYK official in Pink Spiders? So she will be playing with the Lee sisters? Damn. That is already half of the Korea NT starting 6.

And isn't the libero Kim Hae Ran also play for Pink Spider?

Yes... She's officially signed to Pink Spider.

With the Lee twins... and Lucia Fresco (Argentina NT OPP)...

Kim Hee Ran was officially retired in the end 2019/2020 season..

That's really a HUGE Salary cut. That's like only 1/4 of her previous earning.

From the same article it's wrote that in Ecz she was paid 2 B won.. so it's even lower than 1/4, almost 1/6...

Yes... Lee JA is a little problem... she has to work hard to sync with Lee DY fast toss...

Although she's a "senior", Kim Se Young is gonna play longer imo. She used to be with Lee DY in Hillstate, and had a good rapport in working together...

If the translation is right, she's gonna be paid 350 M won... that's almost half Lee JY salary.. I see that as sign that she really doesn't have other option, so she has to compromise with Pink Spider...

Pink Spider is gonna have good receiving if Lee JY n KYK both play well.. Added Lee DY, they are have to be good in blocking and overall defense...

Ic... thanks for the info.... i hope it's going well for KYK.

So Hillstate add.another OH. Is that too many OH now there? Hwang YJ is the only OP.. I don't know if it's good for Hillstate. I guess they still depend very much on Yang HJ for scoring....

It's too bad if Kim HJ still have double duty as OP and MB . I was hoping she can fully play as OP only.

KYK need a club to maintain her availability for OG. I'm guessing she's gonna retire after OG. She picks Pink Spider I assume for sentimental reason, since it's her first pro club...

Salary is a big problem. I wonder if she doesn't care to be paid lower as long as she can play in that club for her last pro life...

    Lucia back to Pink Spider...

3 other foreigners I don't recognize the names, but I hope they can perform very well.

wow... that's tight.. 1/9 th chance to be drafted...

I notice Maya is on the list.. I don't think she will be picked .. her performance was just average for foreigner and she's proned to injury..

I'd be surprise if Ajcharaporn is picked.. considering her height is the same as average local players .. though she's a very good spiker....

So Hillstate got a senior setter with NT experience as well... Good for them..

I think Goo YM gone home to consider her options ... be "eternal" pinch server / libero backup or retired...

Sim MO usually played as backup libero for Hillstate.. but Altos should train her again as MB to give more options in MB position, so Kim Hee Jin can concentrate to become better OP for NT sake....
