In the end not much changes in the teams...

Only 3 teams that affected with changes.:

Pink Spider lost a libero but got Lee DY..

Altos got Cho SH, so they have 2 senior setters that can be rotated in play..

Hillstate is the bad end of the deal.. They lost Lee DY and no new "blood".. They will have to do better recruiting foreign player. Since they are the champion, they got last on picking rookie draft...

Personally, I would like to see Hyundai allow Kim Da-In (KDI) to play as the main setter and develop further. KDI did well in Hyundai's KOVO Cup win last year. Who better to help KDI grow than Hyundai's head coach who is a former setter herself. If Hyundai want some insurance then they can go after Lee Hyo-Hee (LHH). Plus LHH would be cheaper and won't cost them a player. if Hyundai don't spend money this year on external FA players then they may save some space in their salary cap to go after one of the big fish next year (e.g. Lee So-Young or Kang So-Hwi).

I thought Lee HH is retiring in the end of this season... I guess she's gonna play 1-2 more season ...

If Yeum HS stay.at KGC, then Lee HH is reasonable and logical choice.for Hillstate.. As the most senior and experienced setter now in the league, she can help in developing Kim DI as the.main setter...

Not bad for Altos . They keep Kim HJ n Kim SJ... they also got Cho SH.. Lee Na Youn will be backup setter... I wonder if she's gonna retire after a couple of seasons...

So now KGC I'm guessing is still negotiating to keep Yeum HS and Han SY.. If they can't retain them, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be harder for them in the league... I'm not surprised they pay Oh JY so high.. She's currently the #1 libero in SK after Kim HR retirement... Good for her...

Hillstate I think will try to get Yeum HS hard... they need experience setter... They can promote Kim Da In as main setter, then looking for rookie setter..

wow.. that happened... Lee twins in the same club...

Is it possible Pink Spiders also hired Kim HJ as OP? Then hired foreigner OH tandem with Lee JY...

They still have libero problem post Kim HR..

Now I change club fave to Pink Spider.. 😁

Though Yang HJ still one of my fave player....😎

I highly doubt Kim Hee-Jin would move away from IBK to another team. IBK in recent seasons have had OH like Madison Kingdon/Rishel and Adora Anae, who know if IBK may try to get another foreign OH again.

I can't see Lee Da-Yeong going to IBK. IMO she will either move to Heungkuk or she will stay at Hyundai. If she ends up moving to another team then there will be a domino effect for all the setters who is currently a FA.

Heungkuk won't go for Hyundai's libero Kim Yeon-Gyeon. Heungkuk last year retained OH Shin Yeon-Gyeong (SYG) for 100M KRW. This is a lot of money for someone who is not a starting player and is mainly used only to reinforce Heungkuk's defence. IMO Heungkuk has decided last year that SYG would be Kim Hae-Ran (KHR) replacement when they gave SYG that much money. This is evidently so when Heungkuk chose to play SYG in the libero position when KHR was absent or rested in 2019/20 season. If Heungkuk does decide to replace KHR with another libero then personally I think it would be KGC libero Oh Ji-Young..

Lee DY, Cho SH, n Yeum HS, these 3 FA setters are main setter that played more 90 % of total play time.. especially Lee Dy n Cho SH... It will be interesting if they are replacing one another...

But I agree, Hillstate is gonna be working very hard to keep Lee DY...

I think Shin YG is not ideal for libero, posture-wise... She's too big for a libero andshe's not particularly agile either..It's not a good prispect IMO.... Pink Spider should learn from Baek Mok Hwa case, OH turn to libero but fail... though may be SYG can do better....

MVP, Best 7, n Best Rookie are all as predicted... congrats to all the winners...

Wow.. There are 5 core NT players that FA (Lee twins, Kim SJ, Kim HJ, Park JA) with 2 backup NT players (Yeum HS and Han SY)...

Though the capped is increased, but this pandemic is made economy going down all around... so I think the clubs don't have that high of budget.... They must play "smart" in signing the local and foreign players...

This pandemic also make the possibility of going abroad become slim this year.. Clubs from other countries are also prioritized their local players... Also considering Olympic will be held next year...

I wonder if there is a club that can give Kim HJ OP priority and hired foreign OH.... added Lee DY.... maybe Altos or KGC...

Kim SJ and Han SY is on their "senior" years... I think they only will play until OG.. Like KYK...

Kim Hae Ran retirement make a possibility Kim Yeongyeon to be hired by Pink Spiders....

i hope it's going to resume as planned... Latest report seems the outbreak has been reduced in SK...

So Altos and Hi-Pass as the lowest rank teams have lost their foreigners.... I hope they still have fighting spirit to win over the 4 top teams... Though with the packed schedules planned, the teams can't be all out in every match...

The coaches have to utilize all their players in rotation...

I guess the team with deep squad and "smart" rotation will have the best result...

I thought Anae one of the "nice" foreign players... Maybe like Kostlich wrote, she wants to get over this league.. Her team is in the last place, so no chance to play off..

Maybe she was scouted by some other club with dateline that she's worried can be passed with no certainty for how long the league stopped....

or she just wanna get out of SK as soon as possible like those basketball foreign players....

Anyway, I think Altos should just release her... Don't concern about other foreign players in other clubs..

I wish Kang So-Hwi would play for a year with Himeji Victorina :)

I wish not just her.. other top players too..

I think Kang SH hasn't allowed yet. She hasn't finished her mandatory 7 yrs contract yet... If I'm not mistaken...

But the Lee twins will be free next year..

Though Lee JY has said that she's not interested going abroad, maybe her experience in the next VNL and Olympic can change her mind.... I hope.. 🙏

And also Lee DY... not many setters changing leagues, maybe she will be one of them.. another hope...😁

Other than them, maybe Park Jeong Ah or Kim Hee Jin.... and tiny expectation from me for Yang Hyo Jin to at least try once....

I'm glad Hillstate won... The blockers worked very well... Lee SY, Kang SH, n Lutz was render "speachless"... they look like don't know what to do with the Hillstate blockers...

KIixx coach keep recycling the setters Lee Go Eun n An Hye Jin throughout 3 sets...

    Hillstate defence was very good...

And Lee DY was in very good form.. Her sets made it look easy for Hillstate attackers to score.. It's one of the short time duration of a match.....

Really different from their match before vs Pink Spiders...

If only they can maintain this kind of performance...

    Thanks zenith for the info...

the thing is they lost not because the opponent is better, but because their own errors... If they made the same errors with Pink Spiders, they would've won.. The points difference only 4, while the errors difference was 16...

Well, huge homework for the coach.. minimize errors, and improving receptions....

Kixx won vs Hi-Pass 3-1... I guess the rank will change... Hi-Pass only task now is not become the last place in the end of the season....😐

Geez... Hillstate lost to Pink Spider rather quick... straight set, though had tight set 2. lost anyway...

If I'm not mistaken, reading Korean stats at the end of the match, Hillstate made more attacking points, but less block points.. the worst is that HIllstate's errors that twice of Pink Spider's

.. wth... Am I reading right? (Sorry, can't read Koeean letters)

Diouf named R5 MVP is kind of unexpected for me.. I thought it's gonna be the "usual" Lutz/Kang SH or Yang HJ/Lee DY...

After reading the stats, I have to say I don't disagree with the voters.... She deserves it...

Last round... I hope Hillstate can be regular season champion and directly get the spot in the final...

wow, thank you tiffany ... the name is in hangguk, that's why I haven't found it...

I'm glad Lee JY back in full force... She is the best wing spiker in the league and for the NT and she proves it... I hope she can mantain her physical health.. for then she can perform well for the NT in VNL and Olympic....

Altos' win on their last meet seems like a "fluke".. Hillstate won this time and dominated the match...

Look like the youtube channel that was uploading the recent matches have remove all their videos.

that's too bad... The other one has not uploaded any since last month...

where am I gonna watch the replays that does not need VPN? 😣

Yes, he used to played for South Korean men's team Korean Air Jumbos as a MB from (2000~2009 and 2010~2015). Source: 1, 2

    thx for the info...

And I agree from the stat (I didn't watch the match either), it's a poor performance by both team ..

It seems that Diouf is running out of gas in the last 2 matches... luckily, her teammates improve and their opponents were in worse shape ...

My hope is crushed... The "lost vitus" hasaffected Hillstate too.. 😣

It seems the new coach have improve KGC overall teamwork, that they can won 3-1 against Hillstate as the latest of their winning streak..

Surely they grabbed 3rd spot now, don't they?

If Diouf can maintain her great performance and her teammates can keep improving, KGC can be challenger to be champion....

Just out of curiousity, is KGC coach a former volleyball player? I only judged by his height that as tall as Diouf...

yup... Diouf's swings are only 42, which is average for foreigner.. so they have improved the local players' scoring... and

they can grab the 3rd spot if they consistent...

Altos is that bad without Kim HJ? They shouldn't be ... They should be on par with KGC... so their win against Pink Spider and Hillstate just "luck"?

It can be bad 1st season for the coach... I guess he's still adapting to club atmosphere from high school environment.....
