I would bet Fe Garay, but if she stays in shape and improves until the end of VNL maybe Zé will risk having her and Natalia at the same time once again. He did that in Beijing 2008 with Mari and Paula (Jaque was supposed to be the main OH of that cycle but had a small injury during the 2008 Grand Prix). Gabi is supposed to be the main OH in terms os backrow skills but also we need players who scores a lot since we don't have a Boskovic or Egonu as OPP.
Hopefully Garay is not overused and stays healthy. Mari in 2008 🤩

I feel like Lloyd got in over her head too much and too often especially when she became the starting setter for USA post-Rio. It probably didn’t help that Karch was probably more rigid and less flexible when it came to the type of offense he wanted to run then. WCH ‘18 was the final nail in the coffin.
I liked how athletic and physical she was despite not being too tall. Loved watching her play in the ‘16 Club World Championships tournament.

Volley Vlaanderen is financially much stronger than the FVWB, which means that Volley Vlaanderen manages the National teams...

Lived in Brussels for a couple of years and that’s exactly how I imagine them working. It’s hard for me to think how they organize themselves when it comes to national sports teams. Is it a mix of both?Like who gives way? Who will foot the bill? Etc. They seem very disorganized and decentralized. And a bureaucratic hell hole
