Some people never lose their accent regardless of their time in exile, but English and American accents are not that far off from each other in relation to say Hungarian/Magyar vs American. Its very difficult to iron out your Hungarian accent into a perfectly sound American one due to considerable lingustic differences.

What are you talking about have you not seen any British films they have 500 dialects some doesn't even sound remotely English. You've clearly never heard Adele or Saorsie Ronan talk

It is quite curious that after the USA, China and Japan are the nations with the most female coaches.

I believe this is due to Lang Ping's influence in Asian countries.

Countries that are considered "conservative" regarding the role of women in society have more female coaches, while more "liberal" countries like Brazil, Italy and Türkiye have very few.

To date Canada seems to have the most female coaches. Their universities are also spearheaded by females

Canada's NT has Shannon Winzer and assistant coach Carolyn O'Dwyer while Japan and China don't have any female coaches in their staff atm

so they only chose from 3 clubs? kazan, lokomotiv and odintsovo?? who flopped this season. why didn't they include ekaterina gatina? she has better stats than biryukova

based on what i've observed orro's popularity is due to her looks not the media. just take rebecca piva who has a similar vibe to orro and has big features like orro she's already extremely overrated 17K followers for what? italian media isn't talking about her. you won't find anything about her during the recent friendly match. this is why i can't seem to warm up to her so many italian fan accounts gassing her up but she's just okay not a total revelation.

Dani said to ZRG that she's already done playing in NT. And I think she is right. We need to move on finding a new setter because we don't even have a 3rd option If Macris/Roberta gets injured/retired

This cycle going towards LA needs fresh talent so I agree it's time to leave Dani out of it

Velasco is actually getting more annoyed the more they press him about the matter. He's a boomer nothing beats boomers when it comes to being stubborn. He already pointed it out that nobody says no to him.

They had a press thing today where Zetova said she wants to test the younger players that's why she added Dimana Ivanova and Ninova. She also mentioned Mikaela Stoyanova in particular that she has high hopes for.

Stoyanova will likely be a starter. I don't follow Bulgarian league so I don't know her well but finally some new faces

Not webvolei being a collaborator in that post lmao

I'm sure it was just a mistake. The last 5 times Seki and Bardaro were also omitted from their posters.

Webvolei are vbw ig admins. Patrícia Bortoletto has nothing to do with their visuals lol she doesn't even know how to use photoshop:gone:

Again, I'm moving my answer to this thread, as it would be rather off-topic in the original thread.

Yes, that's right. She can only play for Germany now. She might even be considered for the World University Games. She only announced her graduation on her Instagram profile in May of last year, and if she really did take her final exam in 2024, then she qualifies for participation. That's why I hope Bitter, at least, has her on the list.

Her height aside there's really nothing outstanding about her. She's on the slower end and her footwork is still bad I'm not sure why she wasn't able to correct that during her NCAA years

There was this interview with Herbots a couple of years ago. In the interview she was with her Tigers teammates and she said a Polish player called her a sl*t during a game or something like that. I saw it on reddit the other day but does anyone remember that?

Knee replacement surgery? She isn't 70 years old😂

She just had a meniscus tear, something like ana Cristina had last year she should be ready in June but not sure if she could be in shape to compete with other OHs in the roster

Matic Rojnik had knee replacement at 19. Sergio Poggio had it early on too (born 2000). Maybe it's more common with men.

Anyway I hope Tugba doesn't miss WCH
