it makes me sad when i see players had to leave their team without a chance to prove themselves.

any web recommendation for streaming S.Korea match?

I'm curious Lee Na Yeon is also "NT" quality - believe she has represented the country many times. How did she regress so much considering she is still much younger than Lee Hyo Hee and get outdone by Kim Da In. I have no preference for either setter but just curious if Lee Na Yeon performed that badly to be relegated to back up.
it because Lee Do Hee think it will be easier for Lee Na Yeon to help Kim Da In when she struggle than Kim Da In to help Lee Na Yeon when she struggle. maybe the other reason is to give Kim Da In more play time. i happen to ask same question last time, because i think LNY play better than KDI for almost all playing time she can get last season.

maybe they can draft new oh if they are lucky and keep rotating all player they have until they can find the best line up they can make. Sometime in this situation younger players can make some impact if not maybe carry the team for 1 or 2 matches.
I notice team with good rotation like GS can rest their key player more and i don't think that PS players not good, i just think that they just not have enough experience to deal that kind of situation or maybe pressure.

when we can know who Pepper Savings Bank pick from other teams?
-
She must finish that 6 seasons is it? Or she can play abroad and might as well retire there?
for what i know she need to finish the required season before became free agent. she can also play abroad and retire there, like others sport player.
it will have different meaning and feeling for both Korea and International fans depending on where she will be retired. or maybe for KYK herself.

and sadly PSB already get their coach for next season, if not maybe it would be better scenario for LDH coach. because she can make the team she want from scratch and there will be plenty of time for her to prove herself, since newly build team can't expect to get to the play-off unless they are lucky.

Pepper Savings Bank has appointed KIM Hyung-Sil as their first head coach. For those who don't know, KHS was the head coach of the South Korean Women's NT during the 2012 London Olympic Games.
The list for Foreign Players Draft has been released by KOVO (link down below in sources). A total of 44 players including Kelsie Pa
For the draft, Pepper Savings Bank will be given the first priority pick whilst the order of the picks for the remain six teams will be decided via a lottery draw. Hyundai E&C (6th) will get 30 beads, KGC Ginseng (5th) will get 26 beads, Korea Expressway Hi-pass (4th) will get 22 beads, IBK Altos (3rd) will get 18 beads, Heungkuk (2nd) will get 14 beads, and GS Caltex (1st) will get 10 beads.
Can't wait how they build the team and who they pick from other team. i think most player can't relax until they finish picking up players from 6 team. But is it enough to only have 12 players to start new season? I suddenly think that PS will give up one of their libero, it feels like it's already in their plan. If not then they might have 1 of the libero play like JuHa in hyundai, to strengthen their defense.

Jungang vs Hanbom for final eh,
A few player from Jungang HS might get drafted i think. Certainly their MB (Lee YeDam) with 187cm size and quick feet can play as setter too, daughter of former national player. Everything check the box.
Their libero is the best one i seen from this tournament. (She’s Park Hyeon Ju little sister).
as for Hanbom the only one catch my eyes is their setter.
Mokpo WS (no.4) probably gonna get drafted too, 180cm with power spike and powerful spike serve. To bad Daegu HS play really bad this tournament, cant even pass the group stage.
is the white team supposed to be good? why it feels like 1 sided game to me? (or it just me lol)
but the libero doing better than the opposite libero(she flying here and there), it will be better if their receive not so shaky.
and the MB is that number 12?
i notice most of their offence only from 11 and 12
i hope the libero get drafted, she remind me of KimYeonGyeon from Hyundai

Hae-Ran returns with a contract for 100M KRW (80M annual salary and options of 20M).
Besides KIM Hae-Ran, Heungkuk has renewed KIM Mi-Youn and PARK Sang Mi contract while KIM Se-Young decided to retire. Mi-Youn's new contract is for 160M KRW (130M annual salary and options of 30M) and Sang-Mi's new contract is for 90M KRW (80M annual salary and options of 10M).
KGC has retained the service of OH CHOI Eun-Ji and libero NOH Ran, both with a 1-year contract. Maybe I made a mistake reading this but surprisingly Eun-Ji's new contract is only for 80M KRW contract (annual salary). Whilst Ran's new contract is 100M KRW (75M annual salary and options of 25M)
Korea Expressway Hi-pass HA Hye-Jin and IBK Altos HAN Ji-Hyun are unsigned.
i still think that Han Ji Hyun did okay despite lack of minute to play, she only have few full time game when the main libero injured her neck and most of her playing time just to be pinch server. * just my opinion, correct me if im wrong*
if the new team is ready before next season, can they still try to get the unsigned player?

Both Kelsie and Bruna have applied for the draft.
Do you think Bruna can do better if she play from the start of the season?( i think PS might get her back if Kelsie or other better pick not available)
-
The FA window will close in less than 1 hour, what will happen to those that can't sign new contract?
-
She's not under contract but she's not an FA because Heungkuk still has her rights for one more year. If she wants to remain in Korea, she has to sign with Heungkuk for one more year before becoming an FA.
that mean if she stay and want to move to other team, she need to ask for trade?
-
Other than GS player, other team FA player hvnt announce anything with tmr is the last day. What with KYK, isn't she still under contract? If not why her name not on FA list?
-
there's still no news about FA and the player that new team will pick? it almost near the dead line, can i assume that no one change team? lol
-
Best libero.. I don't really pay attention of most liberos... Should be Kixx libero Han Da Hye...
if the reward not for final team only, then i think hyundai or hi-pass libero better than Kixx. (just my opinion)

Nothing concrete so far but here are some news with regards to the 7th women's volleyball team.
From the meeting between Pepper Savings Bank (PSB), KOVO and the other 6 teams at the end of March, some of the things that was discuss were the recruitment of players, membership fee and special development funds that needs to be paid when the team is established, and where this new team will be located.
So from I can understand, PSB will be get to select 8 high school players. Unlike IBK who was only able to select the players from 3 specified high schools (Namsung G.H.S., Jungang G.H.S., and Sunmyung G.H.S.), PSB will be able to select them from any high school across the country. The part about recruiting from existing players from the other 6 teams is a bit hard for me to understand correctly so I am going to skip it and let someone who is more fluent in Korean to comment about it.
With regards to the membership fee and special fund, PSB will be look around to paid at the very least 1B KRW when they join. This is because when IBK was established 10 years ago, IBK paid about 1B KRW (200M KRW for the membership and 800M for the special development fund). So considering this was 10 years ago, PSB will be looking to paid this amount at least or possibly more.
PSB preference for where the team to be located was Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province (near Seoul like Hyundai and IBK), However KOVO and the other teams have recommended for PSB to be based in other regional area to expand and promote the game across the country.
Gwangju City and the city volleyball association also visit KOVO HQ on the 5th and submitted a letter stating their desire to be the home city for the 7th women's volleyball team. The pros for Gwangju city is that PSB has a branch in the Gwangju and the city has the necessary facilities already prepared as they had previously tried but failed to lure men's volleyball team KEPCO to their city. The city has Yeomju Gymnasium which was recently convert to a volleyball-only stadium and Bitgoeul Gymnasium located nearby can be used as an auxiliary stadium.
can't wait for the new team, hope can see it next season. lol
is there any movement in FA?

Well, the Free Agent (FA) is a Korean thing only.
New players have to play a certain amount of matches for 6 seasons before they qualified for FA status. After that, players only need to play a certain amount of matches for 3 seasons before they qualified again for FA status.
At the end of the season, the FA status players can negotiate with their current team and other teams for a new contract. Before the FA period begins, KOVO classified all the FA qualified players into different groups depending on what they were currently earning.
The group classification from the last year FA period:
- Group A - Player's annual salary is 100M KRW and over
- Group B - Player's annual salary is below 100M KRW and up to 50M KRW.
- Group C - Player's annual salary are less than 50M KRW.
This group classification only matters if the FA status player moves to a different team as it will determine what compensation the player's former team will get from the player's new team. The compensation the recruiting team must provide to the player's previous team are as follows:
- Group A Player - 200% of the player's previous annual salary + 1 reward player from the recruiting team; or 300% of player's previous annual salary if no reward player is selected.
- Group B Player - is 300% of the player's previous annual salary.
- Group C Player - is 150 % of the player's previous annual salary.
The teams that recruit a group A player can protect up to 6 players but it must include the newly recruited group A player.
FA rules have changed over the years and I don't know if the same rules will apply to this year FA period yet.
Here is a list of potential players who can qualify for FA status for this year if you are curious:
https://gall.dcinside.com/mgal…omanvolleyball&no=1467363.
With regards to trade in the Korean league, trade of domestic players, I am aware that it can happen during the season but I don't know if there are any specific rules like if they are a deadline for trades. For foreign players, I might be mistaken but teams can only replace their foreign player only once during the season and they can only recruit the new foreign players from those who had applied for the tryout.
Yeah. Tokyo olympic will be the last action for her in NT. I hope she continue to play at club level outside her country. Less publicity, less burden.
Btw, how does the FA thing works? And system of trading players? It's confusing for me
this might help
