saori went to toray's homegame today. they also held a fundraising for the recent earthquake tragedy.

I'm loving Miyu's French braid. She's never done that before? I'm totally here for it
wait what she wore her hair in a bun tho

Based on the caption it's probably out of frustration that they haven't won a single match yet. I do think they need to add better MBs and libero

Anyway back to Fukazawa.
It's clear that she's extremely ambitious and takes everything seriously. But I wonder if she's trying way too hard to be the next ace of this team that it's having the opposite effect on her. She dreads getting benched. She seems to hate getting yanked and replaced with Nakajima. She should continue to improve and grow without draining herself too much. I don't know her twin at all so I wouldn't know how different they are. I just hope she accepts her limits since that seems to be an issue with her being an allrounder.
Also, in the interview she says scoring is her specialty but it's honestly not. Maybe in HS that was what she thought she was good at and she did it well idk. But she's not even close to what makes a stable scorer. All good though. She's still finding her strengths and hopefully figure out how to balance her skills to avoid putting herself physically at risk.
I noticed her and Nakajima are not very chummy but what do we know right?
Anyway rather than trying too hard maybe it's more like she's eager to solidify her spot within the team which leads to an NT call in the future. They're in a transition after all and Saga is currently ace-less. The whole "absolute ace" craze.
I can't say that I'm a fan of either girls but Nakajima is the exact opposite of Fukazawa and she did prove to be reliable during those times when Fukazawa was in bad shape. Healthy rivalry within the team is always encouraged but I don't know if that's the case with these 2.

Not a fan of Megumi. Personally, I would like to see more of Ayane Kitamado based on her U21 Worlds and Asian Club performance, but she don't have playing time so idk She came in earlier to serve and she served to the net
To be fair to Megumi, she's handling the bigger load in attacking attempts and scoring, and sharing equal load with Adams at reception duties. They need Mckenzie Adams to step up more though. Semifinals stats because I haven't seen the Finals stats yet.
Megumi Fukazawa - 27 points (25/62 or 40% kills, 48% reception on 30 attempts)
Mckenzie Adams - 18 points (16/49 or 33% kills, 36% reception on 31 attempts)
Miyu Nagaoka - 17 points (16/45 or 36% kills)
Minami Nishimura - 59% reception on 17 attempts
I would love for them to get an OH with better reception and floor defense than those they have now.
Also, Moeri is injured again, from yesterday's match and is in crutches during the awarding earlier. Too bad.
Moeri Hanai hasn't even played yet? how did she get injured?

Kojima >>> Nishimura
I get that stats are stats and her passes are good probably even better than sakae at times but as a libero I still prefer Kojima

we all do. its just that one person who probably saw koroko and thought that shit was class and decided to troll everyone that stans japan
-
Completely blocked your lying sheltered misogynistic stupid ass bye you desperate Japanese wannabe
-
everyone and your fake japanese grandmother knows japan qualified at the rio oqt
-
it's not the first time that they didn't qualify right away. so no, Koga wasn't a failure in that sense
Stop being so stupid
-
if koga continues to disappear anything can happen the players who produce results will get their spot. hayashi is already way ahead of everyone.
koga is the face of the nt she cant just disappear that would be too drastic for the nt and they haven't qualified yet. the desperation after this season is going to be at an all time high but manabe better not be inviting the likes of kurogo and nakagawa just for being with their team
-
i want mayu to continue playing in italy but i want manabe to make her a starter first
-
Their libero was awful goddamn I ain't watching that again and those highlights are 99.9% Imoco
firenze got wrecked so ofc its 99.9% imoco
-
But a transition requires that the newest generation take over and Nagaoka is leading Saga right now and she's been this team's pillar since the golden era
im well aware of that but my point is that she had a 5 or let's say 4 year semihiatus and this is the only period where she's playing as a starter again. ishii shinnabe, zayasu and iwasaka had all been playing actively til they retired while nagaoka has been in and out by the time sakai took helm. so you can still consider this era a transition her revival included. do you get what i mean now
-
Nagaoka and Sakae are still there so I wouldn't call it a transition until all of Nakada's babies retire
nagaoka has not fully played for hisamitsu since her accident in 2017 her revival is part of the transition to me as she's no longer in her prime anyway
-
Did she get injured again
nobody knows whats with her
-
saga luckily is doing so much better sans ishii and the transition has been very smooth probably the smoothest i've seen since kurihara went to jt
-
i hope koga is back by this weekend some fans are starting to get paranoid. she herself said during the vleague presscon that every.single.match is important and she intends to make up for the losses they suffered by becoming stronger this season and displaying further growth.
also do you guys think mayu will stay in italy for more than just 1 season not necessarily for firenze but maybe switching to a different italian team.
-
i would really hate to see them leave v1 i think they can make a remarkable progress if they stay
They'll probably win fighting spirit award and beat Okayama in the end. This sort of mix up levels the competition with some teams dropping to v2 and other v2 teams experiencing v1 I like it

wtf has nagaoka been draaankin why she look like she's on speed or sum. or was pfu just sluggish as hell what
