Cofi has absolutely right here. Wolosz is the righful MVP in this tournament without ANY DOUBT. This season Imoco is like in 2019 – 2021 season. Both OHs and the OPP are super quick players and Wolosz's effect om this team is way bigger than it was the last two seasons.

I think they wanted Tianjin to get at least two awards. It's a terrible decision. I think most of us, Tianjin fans included, feel De Gennaro is much more deserving of this award.

Saw too many times a coach making subs and then calling a timeout, and basically giving extra 30s to the opponent to plan accordingly

One thing I can understand about Busa potential interest (if Bogdan isn’t trolling us here haha
) is that they might want defensive OH and good passer. Besides Hande they don’t have anyone and Hande herself is very inconsistent even in that aspect, that being said Hande and Busa in the same team would be hilarious and that’s something only Ecza could think of doing, for real One year Fenerbahce had both Busa and KRob lol but obviously KRob is much better and more consistent than all these names

Chieri really lacks a good opposite! Gicquel isn't decisive in the important moments... Buijs would be a better option, but than they don't have a good back-up at the outside hitter position. They should have signed Nemeth! Also I don't understand why Lyashko doesn't get a chance, because Zakchaiou is one of the worst attacking middle blockers I have ever seen

It's silly and pointless to compare setters or any players between now and past.
Very different style of game and speed, and especially service pressure. Or even ball changes.
E.g. Piccinini/Del Core hitting in-system russian style skyballs in early 2000s vs. Sylla hitting lightning speed balls now
E.g. China played like 95% in system with Feng (Feng Kun would suck so bad with nowadays service pressure and having to set OOS)
I mean - Can people guarantee 100% with Lo Bianco/Ferretti Italy would win gold in Paris as well?
