Wth! Why sub koga. It should be ishikawa get subbed! 😏
-
Kurogo thought she'd wait and see if Momii got that net roller before coming to help
She wanted to be ready for a set just in case Momii made a miracle
😂
-
If Kurogo were held to the same standard of "No Mistakes" she'd be warming the bench. So lazy.
I’m used to japanese players who will do their best to get the ball. Not like that 😬
-
They did it when they qualified for the OGs. If I’m not mistaken, Brazilian players did the same after getting their spot back in 2019.
Theres a lot of ways to celebrate. And now look what happened. Anyway she did apologise. But will this keep happening?

Serbia's libero did this
Serbian players did something like this before few years back. I dont know why they do it. If you think your action will cause some issue or negative reactions, Better not do it.
-
But she has always been a starter. I'm having a hard time adjusting to the new players and I know Ishii is one of the best players Japan has that's why there's no reason to hold her back
Ishii has been mainly a starter since saori kimura retired. But koga has overtook her as 1st OH. So now she could be either 2nd OH or 3rd switching with Ishikawa. Experience wise obviously Ishii over Ishikawa. But i think Nakada is gauging how Ishikawa will do playing as Starter over Ishii.
-
Ishikawa over ishii again. I really do hope she play better than last time.
-
Ishii disappeared from Japan's golden trio. Terrible choice of players for this match. Ishii should have been a starter
I think they are trying ishikawa if she can be the starter. But shes not really doing it for me. She can hit hard but not great at defence. Maybe japan staff have some thinking to do. Also kurogo hasnt been making really great impact. Shes playing too safe.
-
Koga is the only locked in for OH for me. Ishikawa is struggling. I would prefer ishii over her. But maybe too early to tell. But we’ll see 😏
-
Both toray players Ishikawa and Kurogo playing not great .

Someone posted in the China women NT thread
If you use Chrome you can use an add-on called HOXX VPN there's a Japan option and it works with it. https://chrome.google.com/webs…nccbanplpoffopkoepjmhgdgh

thank you. How do i do that? I’m in uk 😬
-
Any livestream?😊
-
From the picture, I'm sure Ishikawa, Koga and Inoue are receiving.
Thank you. Its just the picture is too far and cant see it clearly 😊
-
So who are the starting 6 for japan on this practice match?
-
Kurogo was ever in JT?
i dont think she was ever on JT. After high school went straight to toray. If i’m not mistaken
-
Ishii is guaranteed to be one of the starters. The best thing about her is her stamina and she's also a Nakada veteran. She will likely be far more motivated in the NT where everything else is reinforced.
If you noticed, JVA already started pushing Kurogo to be the center. My guess is that it will be Araki, Koga, Kurogo and Mayu as the main PR stars for the Olympics.
All Nippon Airways stated that it will continue running it's campaign for Ryuji Nippon but not Hinotori which says a lot about their current state. Only Yuki Ishikawa is untouchable at the moment.
I won’t be surprised if Ishii will be. Yes! Its because of Nakada. But still a toss between her and Ishikawa. But i prefer the latter. Koga i believe should be one of the main OH’s. I would be really surpsised if she won’t.

Ishii has become a huge joke so if you think that she can even go up against Thailand right now then you need to take a good hard look at what kind potential you're talking about.
Nishida's performance has been incredible although he was mildly injured for awhile back. He needs to be more careful. Both him and Ishikawa are extremely motivated.
I Agree. Ishii hasnt been impressive this season in the V league. That reflects on their rankings. I would count more on Sarina Koga as she played really well this year. Seems like her good form is back. I would rather see Mayu Ishikawa play as a starter than Ishii.
