I'm surprised Toray called it this early when she doesn't come in until April. It makes sense if she comes in after high school championships and get to play a little like Nakamoto in Seagulls.
I hope her OH sister goes to Denso, follow their senpai Hyodo. They only have (another) Nakamoto, Hyodo and Acosta.

Is Nagaoka even healthy enough to play a set?
-
Yamazaki has become really stable at setting. And this is just her 2nd year with their Brazilian coach. 👏
-
And in that presscon she was asked how long she will keep her hair 🙄
-
Erika's husband started crying halfway through the press conference at the back they're so precious. The Oyama sisters are also very supportive of her.
I didn't watch her presscon but I saw Saori's story. Araki-san is already glowing.

Business side?
For example, Sarina is with NEC's Social and Public Planning Division. Taishi probably had something similar in JT. He left that division to just play with JT Thunders.
-
And then another NT guy Onodera I think quit his team and won't do V League anymore as I understand
Taishi is still with JT Thunders. That post of him resigning meant he left the business side of JT and now solely focuses on the sports side.

They will confirm Nakamura (Strengthening Committee) on October 14. We might have the new head coaches then.

Is Tillie + Blain being greedy?

I'd like to think that they are just trying combinations, but who knows with this coach lol.
That Fukuyama substitution was the weirdest of all. Even he didn't know what he was there for. I hope they let Otsuka start at least against Bahrain and India.
-
Were they just trying different combinations? I was out for most of the 2nd set when they subbed Otsuka out for Takanashi. I hope that wasn't because he was playing inconsistently.

there were no signs of the New PFU Kids on the Block
There must be some residency requirement to those who have represented teams in other prefectures because this was a comment during their match last weekend:
Nabeya, Watanabe, Tahara and Watabiki have been Ishikawa citizens for less than two years, so unfortunately they do not meet the requirements for registration to the National Athletic Meet. They are probably not allowed to enter the venue due to the effects of the Corona disaster.
Valdez-Melisa has not yet been naturalized as a Japanese citizen, but she has been granted special dispensation to meet the registration requirements.
The reason for the special exception is that she has participated in the National Athletic Meet for three years in high school in the boys' and girls' category, and she is a new employee in Ishikawa Prefecture.
Kagamihara must've played with Tsukuba in another block before.
