It really makes me funny how Turkish fans are afraid of Polish NT. Have you really seen how Poland played this year? We could have some chances with Wolosz and Medrzyk on board and muuuuch better coach, but if we win at least one set it will be huge surprise. And even potential lack of Boz should not help us much.

It's mostly because of how fluctuating the Turkish NT can be. The defeat against SK is still fresh and this:

The olympic qualification match has left permanent scars that we can't wash off. Whenever we play against Poland, we'll be sitting on the edges of our chairs.

If Ebrar and Hande perform badly on a day the Polish Opp duo excell it's a toss-up. Supporting Turkey teaches one to be cautious and hopeful at the same time

Even if I am blocked in this forum, I will not allow anyone to insult my country or my compatriots!

Mate sorry but you're bringing most of this yourself by your confrontational and condescending attitude you know that right? Don't be so selective either. People are worshipping N. Dimitrova and Vuchova and until this game Vasilieva. Bulgaria is a great team and until the last point I was sure that they were gonna snatch the victory. Let's play and write fair from now on and good luck with the next tournaments. I wish you inner peace and better thoughts than jingoism and hostility. Cheers

Damn, do we have vaccine-sceptics in the Turkish team and if so is Meryem one of them? If that's the case, it was foolish and irresponsible. If they were all double-vaccinated, that's just unfortunate.

Btw, if TR wins as expected, i am not so confident about their chances against the Polish team. Magda and Marwina are on a roll, their MBs are scoring. Whereas Turkey can flop any day for no reason. Fingers crossed though.

We understood that Bulgaria is your big problem because probably ten pages you have nothing other to discuss except bulgarian players's behaviour. We are glad to give you a little bit food and finaly someone will talk about us because topic for Bulgarian NT i one of the least visited and commented. We understood that you are more active when you want to hate something. We bulgarians are patient and peaceful people. We have nothing against you and after all we will continue to support all our players.

Nationalism is a disease. I sincerely speak out of experience. This us and you/them kinda talk helps noone. Our Brasilian friends are the harshest critics of their national team f.e. as is the case with Turkish users with their own. Biggest Tugba fan is certainly not Turkish( yes sitenoise you:) ) the only user who fanatically supports a nat team is crovolley who is a croat cheering another nation.

Elena Pietrini is not getting enough attention as She should.

That girl is on another level from attacking that become so brutal, serve and her recetion. It doesn’t matter if sets are perfect or OOS. In such a short period She become all around OH at only of AGE of 21 YEARS OLD. And She is still improving and She needs to improve even more. She is finally becoming a player that everyone were expecting.

I think She is on top when it comes to OHs at this ECH. I don’t see many players better her. She even has better % in attack than Paola Egonu :white::white:

Her serve is becoming more and more brutal, She even hits it from service line over 100km/h.

I was really impressed by her hitting power. Italy now has two above-100km/h hitters which is scary for others

So late ro comment but just watched the TR-NL game. I hated that Gui never subbed Hande when she was bad both in attack and defence. He had the comfort of the lead and all else was working so it was the perfect time to warm ilkin for greater competition. What's gonna happen if Hande continues her slump or gets injured. Sub in ilkin then against Serbia for the first time or Meliha the nonfinisher. Two games in a row gui wasted the opportunity to keep his bench on edge.

Because Bulgaria knowed that lost against Germany will make them 98 % third in the group and that mean very difficult opponent in the 1/8 finals which they want to avoid but whatever. One of the hosts Romania probably will be even last in their group which is more unpleasant than to reach just 1/8 finals as a host.

Yeah i understand the tension. But i just wondered whether there is some other beef between the teams cuz they were yelling or making faces to the germans from time to time if I'm not mistaken, i hope i am though. I hope the hosts have some good moments in the remainder of the tourney. The romanians have a young team so it may be a good start of greater things but I'm not so sure about Bulgaria. Their stars seem at the height of their careers.

I really like the German team. They look balanced and even though Janiska was not clinical today, all OHs look really promising.

Btw do you know why the Bulgarian team looked so pissed today especially the Dimitrovas? Other than being in front of their supporters ofc. The vibes were polar opposite.

Very enjoyable game with a nice atmosphere.

like a laser, Where TF was that at OG?

Ikr? Maybe it is about an elite opponent, able to figure out how to defend her? Romania is by no means a heavyweight. We can come to a conclusion after games against the Netherlands (Go oranges!), Germany, Poland etc. Still it seems she can play sharp against opponents of at least Romania's caliber despite the rumors and SM comments about her orientation.

I wouldn't mind Kübra replacing Dicle at Fenerbahçe. That would add some firepower provided she commits to redeem herself. I wonder if Vakif would let her go to a rival so easily and if yes whether Fener could figure out something to revoke its contractual obligations to Dicle. I would pick Kübra against Beliz or Dicle on any given day.
