Out of rotation error – free positioning of the receiving team

I'm against increasing the side-out rate because it would make volleyball less interesting.

    “Push–carry–catch–throw-tip” attack

This is also a pretty significant rule change. Height will probably become a more important factor.

I never agreed with banning Russians and Belarusians from competing in the first place, but of course, the US and Israeli flags should also be banned. It's not fair.

In the Olympics, if you get through the group stage and win just one game, you'll be in the "top four." Once you're in the host country's group, it's easy to get through the group.

No team can win the World Championships by fluke. For popular sports like football, tennis, and golf, the Olympics are not the pinnacle, so this tournament should really be the pinnacle.

In the end, volleyball (especially women's) is most popular in East Asia. The videos are most viewed in Thailand.

Europeans generally don't invest in women's sports because they think men are "superior."

As for Americans, as long as there is still money in the air, KD and LBJ only spend money as a "risk hedge." If there is no prospect within a few years, they remove it from the portfolio. The culture is poor.

    ok.

After all, if the US wins the NORCECA Championship, there is no provision that the second place team will be given an Olympic berth. However, since the FIVB is careless, it is possible that this will be added in the future.

As far as I can remember, Canada has never won.

Also, recently the US has not been fielding their main players and are fighting as if they absolutely cannot (mentally) lose. So United is shit.

    name Non-competitive

Canada has a route to win the NORCECA Championship. As I understand it, if the US wins, the second-placed team will not be able to qualify for the Olympics.

If an Asian team is relegated, there is no chance of an Olympic berth.

    Warisara is good.

As an analyst, I understood that Serbia had a high scoring rate to begin with, so they were unlucky. They get tired when the sets pile up.

Fivb ranking hacking is theoretically possible, and unless the VNL gives points for participating or points based on ranking, it is possible to hack in a way that would earn you points by not participating in the VNL. Especially in Europe.

Canada Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France, Italy, Poland
Serbia Brazil, China, Netherlands, South Korea, Thailand
South Korea Brazil, China, Netherlands, Serbia, Thailand
Thailand Brazil, China, Netherlands, Serbia, South Korea

The FIVB, making them play 9 games over 12 days, seems to just want to destroy promising players.

What's important in this generation is international exchange and technical exchange, so play around 5 games in a single elimination format and then everyone can eat together.

Quote from serdar (Aug 13th 2024

Initially all five continents were supposed to have 3 slots + host. However FIVB decided to give only one slot to Africa since their qualification tournament had only 3 teams. Other two slots were given to Asia and norceca (no justification here why, obviously Cev is the strongest federation, so this is dodgy) and csv get 4 slots because Peru is the host. that's why they have 4 slots while cev has 3 and acv only 1.

The second tier in Europe has a Golden League every year, so if you win there, you can earn a lot of points. In Asia/Oceania and Africa, teams that don't have points play against each other, so you can't earn points, and you almost never get to the VNL. There is too little exchange of points between continents. Vietnam is pretty strong, and in last year's Challenger Cup they beat Belgium without Helbots. Currently, Vietnam has problems with their blocking system and basic techniques, so I don't think they are strong enough to participate in the VNL yet, but they should be given a chance. VNL2 is an expanded version of the Challenger Cup, and it is also a place to adjust points between continents. If Europe is strong there, the current point distribution is fine. However, at the moment there are too few second-tier point exchange matches, so there are no opportunities and it's unfair.

If an Asian team gets relegated, they can't come back under the current rule that the team with the highest world ranking gets promoted.

I previously predicted that Thailand would be relegated within the next five years. The Dominican Republic will also be in trouble once their golden generation that won the U20 World Championship in 2015 peaks, given their population of people over 180cm and their economic size.

That's why we need to create a VNL2.

Also, the FIVB should do more technical support programs for forgotten regions like Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East. After all, the FIVB is just making profits without covering the costs of hosting the tournament or the players' salaries.

You do realise Hong Kong is bigger then Serbia population wise?

In terms of the population ratio of women over 180cm, Serbia is 70 times that of Hong Kong and 7 times that of Thailand.

If we limit it to women over 190cm, the difference in ratio becomes even larger.

More than half of sports have a structure where size and muscle mass matter.

    Those who belittle sports.

There are so many "volleyball experts" who don't understand why the main teams that put out their best players are made fun of.

And they say they've never seen a proper tactical theory.

In the end, you guys are the ones who are making sports uninteresting.
