Today (actually yesterday) Maria denied this information in Siatkarskie Ligi.
She said that this is not true. Also she explained that she wants to have a one season break. She wanted to have it even earlier years, but now it's a good time, especially that Szczygłowska took the 1st libero spot the last year so there is no gap that the coach has to fill.
She said that Stefano was very surprised when she said that to him but he understands her and they have very good an positive contact and she wants to play in NT in the future.
Also Maria denied the information that she extended with ŁKS.
As I understand she really wants to play abroad and today her future is unknown.
Perhaps she'll want to come back in a year or two... the question is, will the coach want to then?

Hanna Hellvig is a Swedish volleyball player, born on February 3, 2000. He plays as a receiver and currently represents the RC Cannes club in France. She is 189 cm tall, weighs 69 kg, and her range in attack is 308 cm, in the block 295 cm. During her career, she played for several clubs, including Sm'Aesch Pfeffingen (Switzerland) and Swedish Athletes Abroad Stockholm. She is one of the top volleyball players in the Women Volleybox database, which includes the data of more than 118,000 players from around the world.
Hanna comes from a volleyball family - her sister Agnes Hellvig and brother Jonatan Hellvig are also associated with volleyball, and Jonatan is successful in beach volleyball, winning, among others, a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. Hanna has already finished her national career, but she is still active at the club level.
Hanna Hellvig played 17 official matches for the Swedish senior national team and 35 matches for the junior national team.

Yeah I’m not a fan of Nowicka and find her to be really overrated by some Polsat "experts" but it’s not like we have a lot of setters who could replace Wołosz and both Wenerska/Kowalowska (who are both over 30).
None of the youngsters like Siuda or Szewczyk are even close to take over so we need to see what is Lavarini’s plan. I think he will look at Grabka, Nowicka and Bińczycka (whose season is not bad tbh, whenever Opole’s reception was not terrible which happened not that often her sets were actually quite fast and precise). I’m still lowkey hoping for Łyczakowska to get the call but she’s so unlucky lolLavarini will reportedly split the team into an A and B team.
Team B is set to meet for the first time in early May, where new faces are expected to arrive and testing will begin.

I don’t understand how somebody could think that Nowicka could be ever the first NT setter or even a sub…(?). I’m sorry but I will be a hater in her case.
I can’t listen in TV „today we’ll have a battle between 2 NT setters, Wenerska vs Nowicka, which will take the spot after Wolosz? ” - Julia does not have even a half of the skill that Wenerska has. There is some kind of blind hype about her but more talented setters are met with silence.
If Lavarini will not call her it will be a sign that we have an awesome coach which is not under somebody’s pressure, has own style, vision and voice.He won't call. For many reasons, he's not in the orbit of interest. There's no Nowicka topic in the NT.

Someone wrote on Twitter that Nowicka won't get a call to NT. We will see. If she will have bad season in Brazil, I think that we can forget about considering her as someone who might be a part of the polish NT, I am not saying first setter, even as second I don't see a big chance for her.
But maybe she will thrive in Brazil? Time will tell. Do you know who will be a setter in Minas with her?
Nowicka will not be called up to the NT as long as Lavarini is the coach. She knows that very well.
