It is extremely unfair to Ilkin unless she has a serious injury which they never explained and keep telling that she will be back very soon...

Hande's injury is a question mark as well as Zehra's. Ebrar-Meliha duo might be the starting line up but that's a big downgrade from the combination with Hande and Ilkin (as first sub). Tugba and Derya can be useful for a set but that's all.

Beyza is there clearly due to Zehra's injury. With all these, I will be very surprised if Turkey manages to make it to semi-finals.

I could not agree more. I am so sorry for İlkin, this was her best chance to be an olympian and she is a very good fit for the team. Tugba is very lucky, I would put her in reserve and take a libero instead.

This is the Turkish NT thread, and I think you have spilled enough of your hatred. Even though I admitted it was wrong, this is not what you want to see, and you have got what you wanted. What do you want more? Sisko , can you please move these posts somewhere else?

After Poland vs Turkiye, Simge didnt shake Korneluk’s hand

that is another level of stupid behaviour

I saw this, and I can’t believe my eyes because this is the opposite of the Simge I know. I had the opportunity to chat with her, and she is a ball of positivity. If this is not a mistake, I agree that this is the highest level of stupid behavior, and this is not the first time Korneluk has given a staredown.

    IDK...

Many of you are taking points away from Turkey, but for me they will arrive at the Olympics in good shape and will be a team to beat...

Three players from last year's winning team have injuries. Even if they make it to the Olympics, they will lack training and game time, hence they will be out of shape. TUR should have let go of VNL and followed the Serbian model. I would have expected Santarelli to be wiser. This is also his first experience managing a team without star players....

There was just a massive sigh of relieve for me to see Serbia in group A. This way, all the main teams will get a fair chance to reach QF!

For NL, it obviously would have been nice to be drawn with either France or Kenya to increase our chances, but at least we will be able to have a nice battle with DR for 3rd place :box:

The battle in Group C will be tough for every team except Italy. With injuries and no backup plan, I don't think TUR can expect an easy ride either. On a good day, DR can beat us easily, and NED can give us a hard time, potentially even a defeat (based on the intensity they showed against CAN).

Ok, then you have a justification for everything I said. There is no point in continuing. I only hope that next time you can be more inclusive and consider both cause and effect. Please also warn Cofi, the 'gaslighter,' as they try to involve as many users as possible in their nonsense by tagging irrelevant users. Hopefully, nobody cares. Have a good day!

I think you are missing the point. Madden54 is continuously provoking Turkish users here, and although I have been ignoring his posts, not everyone has to do the same. When someone finally replies, they are banned. If you check all my posts, I never insult or provoke anyone and do not engage in conversation unless provoked by comments like 'fucking Turkish referee.' Your unfair judgment encourages others to provoke us all the time, as seen in the last post by Cofi, who thinks they have the authority to lecture people.

And that particular user knows very well that Serdar used 'fucking' as a retaliation to highlight their hypocrisy, as they think there is no problem with saying 'fucking Turkish referee.' I worked for many years with NGOs fighting against racism. Sometimes perpetrators are not aware of what is racist, which, in this situation, I think, is NOT THE CASE.

Madden called Serdar a hater. I don’t consider that an insult. He also said he was “being silly.” Even if we consider silly as an insult (and it would be as soft an insult as you can imagine), he didn’t actually call him silly. In fact, saying that he was “being silly” suggests Madden thinks Serdar knows better and was being deliberately obtuse to make a point.

“Dumbass” is a far stronger word. Add to that the fact that I told serdar just a few days ago to stop personal attacks and that he promised to continue to using them in future, it seemed like he was almost asking me to do something. So yes, I think it was a fair judgment indeed.
