Just in the sense that she never played for NT but Antropova has bern in Italy since 13 yo so basically all her sporting career was developed in Italy and hence she chose to compite for Italy, even with almost no help from the federation.
First she was 14 years old, then 13 years old, and next she’ll be 13 months old!
What I said has nothing to do with the player’s background, it’s the same case regardless. -
afaik Markova has not played for Russia NT, am I wrong? So she will be the same case as Antropova.

As much as I want TUR to be in the final, I don't think we have the strength mentally and physically. However, I am happy that the girls have gained this experience and hope they have fun playing in the semi-final tonight and the bronze medal match on Saturday. They have already done so much for the country.

i don't think brazil have enough weapons to overcome americans' experience. usa will probably distrupt whatever rhythm they'll try to maintain and it'll be a very frustrating match for brazilians.
assuming the injuries on turkish side aren't serious, they cannot afford another slow start, they'll have to be absolutely clinical in pretty much every critical point and take it to 5 sets, also ebrar needs to show up, otherwise it'll be over before they even know it. whatever the outcome will be, i think the winner of this match is also gonna get the gold.
I am also wondering how TUR is affected by playing a late game after having played four games in a row at 9:00 am.

It is extremely unfair to Ilkin unless she has a serious injury which they never explained and keep telling that she will be back very soon...
Hande's injury is a question mark as well as Zehra's. Ebrar-Meliha duo might be the starting line up but that's a big downgrade from the combination with Hande and Ilkin (as first sub). Tugba and Derya can be useful for a set but that's all.
Beyza is there clearly due to Zehra's injury. With all these, I will be very surprised if Turkey manages to make it to semi-finals.
I could not agree more. I am so sorry for İlkin, this was her best chance to be an olympian and she is a very good fit for the team. Tugba is very lucky, I would put her in reserve and take a libero instead.
