Multi-tasking as both coach and player in a small team without a stable footing while doing PR for their prefecture was the wrong move for her. There's a reason that's not a thing. She made it a one-woman team where she had to do almost everything with very little acknowledgement from the volleyball field.

The industry coddles her not to mention she's friends with the elite circle of Maiko Kano's friend list and was the ace of a historical club. When you're none of those well what else should you stay for? Clubs won't keep paying medical bills while you do the bare minimum if you're not a name that a country knows.

If anyone is unlucky in the NT it was always Uchiseto. They kept doing her dirty. Do you guys remember during Nakada's term some girl got her ACL injury and the one who got the pity invite was Uchiseto. Then Manabe finally gives her a chance with the main team and forced her to play a different position. She always got the short end of everything. Still for someone her height she was a great player both in offense and defense.

I feel a little bad for Toray. No matter how strong and consistent they are throughout the season they can never seem to WIN BIG. This is the bajillionth time they get cockblocked by JT, Hisamitsu and now NEC. It's gotta be a curse.

Springs struggling against Ageo was already a sign that they lost their flow. They had so many chances, they took the lead on most of those sets but ran out of steam towards the end - very Denso of them. This time Nakagawa actually made it count where Hirayama could not do anything.

Sad for them they could have completely overtaken those 2. They're not as motivated anymore.

I'm rooting for Ageo to win the championship but if Saga ends up winning it then let Ishii have it. It feels a little weird that she's really retiring. I'm thinking that maybe Uchiseto or Yamagishi will also retire after this.

Honestly I love Nagaoka so I hope it turns out to be a success this time. Only... as someone who was big on MiyuHaru during Rio I'm a little sad Manabe went with Tominaga but I get it. I know those 2 will be paired together like in 2018 when Nagaoka was blasting Turkey and only Tominaga was able to make that happen. I don't know where Nagaoka gets the confidence when her knees probably want to murder her already. It's a mystery. She must be a masochist like Neymar.

Very disappointed they decided not to go with Valdes. Valdes could easily double Hayashi and Nagaoka's power. They could've at least considered her.

Maybe if Valdes was half-Japanese otherwise I don't see Manabe choosing her over other half-Japanese players.

Derya to Kurobe could just be a repeat of Tugba but if Springs signs her at least their rookies will have to work twice as hard and not depend on the foreign player. Isn't that what NT fans want?

Samantha Bricio will probably end up in Toyota or Ageo.
