While rewatching the VNL finals … all I can say is, if you think Oro isn’t ready for the starting position, you know nothing about volleyball. She’s a STAR!

Objectively, that success came too early and the team wasn't ready for it. These were very young girls and an inexperienced coach at the time. That's why the results in the next years were worse. The gold medal in 2024 was more deserved and earned. But of course, huge applause to those girls for being able to seize the opportunity for success, which was very unexpected. Not everyone can do that.

You’d think so with Carlini and Hancock retiring. Gray has been a consistent starting performer over the past few years in Brazil. Evans has become a starter consistently for her team this season. Bugg has spent more time on the bench than starting. Seems like it’s Gray’s turn now.
