It really makes me funny how Turkish fans are afraid of Polish NT. Have you really seen how Poland played this year? We could have some chances with Wolosz and Medrzyk on board and muuuuch better coach, but if we win at least one set it will be huge surprise. And even potential lack of Boz should not help us much.
The olympic qualification match has left permanent scars that we can't wash off. Whenever we play against Poland, we'll be sitting on the edges of our chairs.

I have mixed feelings. I want Poland to succeed but then they're gonna play against Turkey in the QFs. And you know those Polish girls.. They become lionesses when playing against Turkey.
So how can I support Poland without sacrificing Turkey(No pun intended)?

1st set is quite similar to yesterday's 1st set of BUL-SWE, but I simply can't see CZE pulling off an upset here (or Turkey disappearing the way Bulgaria did...)

I read that she tested positive and is asymptomatic. So they quarantined her and hoping that she would test negative before Poland match.

Could happen. I would rather Turkey faced Bulgaria than Poland. Even remembering the olympic qualification match gives me the creeps. And if we lose, I'd support Poland till the end. Because they're great and humble.
And I didn't say pool B was weak.

Yes, I am of this opinion, group D is weaker than B.
Today's matches were pool D against pool B and the both teams in the latter lost. And Turkey didn't even play yet. So your opinion doesn't hold much water, imo.

I remember someone saying pool D is a "weak" group. Then the winner of the pool B loses against the fourth team in the "weak" group

Bad news for Turkey. Let's hope Ebrar can carry the load, because Meryem saved her and Turkey's ass a lot of times when it was needed. But even then... We don't have confirmation everyone else is safe...Is Meryem positive confirmed or is it still a rumour?

Hello. I'm Yasin. To be honest, I wasn't really a volleyball fan until last year when I watched Poland-Turkey match of the Olympics Qualifications. Then I realized how much fun it can be.
