IMO With the squad they have this year, CL group stage exit and not reaching final in italian league is not a good sign for Lavarini future in Novara at all. They probably have ambitious goal this season...

Yes they definitely lack of some experience on the middle. It will be great if either one of them are willing to play... But I understand their decision and hope for their best!
Baijens and Timmerman pair should be try more and consider Lohuis form is not that good recently, I can see them become the starting MB pair.

I think Nika will start, but as shown in Novara this year, she will need a good back-up/alternate with her, cause her performance can still be unstable in some matches. Bajema is a good option for that and I agree both them will improve under Guidetti.
