I agree! In the match against China it was way better (mainly Savelkoel) and that increased the level by a huge margin. Schoot isn't as good as last summer indeed, and so far I find particularly Bongaerts disappointing. She can do way better than this

Ayaka Matsumoto, Kasumi Nakaya and Kelsey will not be back with Toyota. Nakaya and Matsumoto retiring.
I am going to guess that with Kelsey being married, probably wanted husband nearby and Japan with Covid rules was not making it easy. Let alone if pay is possibly higher overseas…..I don't think Kelsey would gain higher pay next season ... She will be playing in Italy for Imoco Conegliano, and probably got a pay cut comparing with what she got pay in Toyota.

I know he isn't that young but he would probably be a starter in teams like Padova/Cisterna.
Or Plus liga teams like Warszawa, Gdansk or Zawiercie
I agree, he is good enough to be a starter for many of those team you mention. But yeah maybe when Perguia give him an offer, especially at his age now he will consider that.

Dambrink didn't make any improvement compared to last year
She can only score against a weak block or on perfect fast set. She can't score out of system balls and hits under the ball instead of on top of it...Reesink did okay on serve receivez but her defense is bad for a libero. Hope to see Knip during VNL!
Selinger doesn't seem to like Marrit Jasper. Won't be suprised if she will not make it in the WCH squad and one of Knollema or Savelkoel will take her spot.
I also really hope Van Aalen will be given chance in VNL... Bongaerts set was quite off yesterday to be honest.
