As for young blood, we have Tadic, Vujovic and Grkovic at OP who should be at least called to train with NT. They can’t contibute now but Tijana isn’t gonna play forever and Zubic isn’t the answer for starter OP position in the future.

Grkovic is signed to Volero next season as OH, Tadic is also seen training with Volero (she is with SB so it makes sence) after a year break due to back injury. Vujovic will play in Nilufer although it’s not official.

None of them are serious options yet ofc but it wouldn’t hurt to have them called and tested in training camp as options for future considering our OP pool is TRAGIC without Tijana.

Terzic said that he expects Antonovic to have bigger role next summer with A team and I’m all hete for it, the girl is super talented.

Glad to know all of these. I think Mateska could be a good addition to the pool, she has solid stats at Washington. I'm assuming Volero Le Cannet? (or Virtus lol). Hopefully they all get heavy minutes this season

I agree with a lot of the comments here. I'm not Serbian so I'm not privy to whatever things are going on with the federation, but whoever's in charge has to act quickly regarding the coaching [staff]. I feel sorry for this batch because if they are experiencing so many coaching changes, but they can't keep on clinging to whatever they have now. Apart from the fact that WR points are very crucial for them to qualify for LA, they need next year's VNL to be a successful campaign to give a morale boost for the girls (assuming that Tijana won't play a lot of games next year) and see which actual young blood (both in age and experience in NT) they could keep in the following years.

Some of the girls who went to NCAA are doing pretty good (from eye test), and it would be such a big waste if the federation/NT can't capitalize on these girls' growth.

i'm glad ivanovic is recovered from that disastrous start (considering that boskoball was the play in some part of the second sets even when uzelac was in front lol)

congrats to Greece, I haven't watched Ukraine closely but I don't think this has been the level they had in VNL (+ from playing a 5-setter (even though it was a loss) to getting swept by Bulgaria yesterday)

IIRC his "retirement" was more of having a disagreement with one of the higher ups of the Ukrainian fed (cmiiw). He's been playing good in Perugia based on comments in the Superlega forum

I find it interesting that Varga is a reserve now when he was playing several games last year. Also for Szwarc, the two opps so far are doing good so no idea how he'll fit in or if he'll return back to MB.
