Besides all the Winzer memes, they have indeed arrived at being a very competitive team on highest level. Their bench is not exactly deep and they could use a better libero, but other than that their starting six is really solid overall with King, Gray and Van Ryk standing out 
Apparently Palermo is the only libero now for Canada as Murmann (who was more utilized in the VNL if I remember correctly) underwent surgery for appendicitis in Poland.

I am rooting for Verona this season because of SAPOZHKOV, he got what it takes to be one of the best opposite in the world.
He has been a promising player for several years now, at least known among the Russian fan. Hope he make a name for himself this season in Superlega.
Good start for him and Verona to beat Piacenza by 3-2 in their home courtVerona will be very interesting this upcoming season, especially their wingers. I'm curious how Stoychev will shuffle his lineup.
