About LOVB, I wonder if players get a say in which team they are going to play, or if it's all assigned by the league.
To be honest, I was kind of meh on LOVB because six teams just didn't seem enough to me to make it exciting, but now I'm actually looking forward to it. If they can make all the teams equally competitive, it could be really fun. And Folie is a great signing for sure.
We said the same about PVF, but the league is crazy fun to watch. 🙂
How about those Northwestern OHs Friday night?! Temi TA and Symone Abbott both had good matches for their respective teams!
Abbott very good so far.
TTA quite good, but her team is messy. It's hard to shine in her situation. But she's one of the brightest spot of her team.
The stats for Scandicci vs Ecza.
Boskovic 31 points with 17 errors
Antropova 20 points with 14 errors
Zhu 11 points with 24%
Too messy match from the big stars. Only Gray was really good with 22 points and 38% but I really do not know if she repeat this performace only with 1 reception error( well sure she can but I just count based what I saw generally this season from her).
Stats don't say Hande and Simge covered like 90% of the court, but Scandicci managed to find Gray as much as possible. She wasn't as bad as usual, but she could have a little bit better reception stats, considering Scandicci served on her figure and she didn't have to move at all the whole time.
Last time I heard about Pietrini, Imoco was giving up because Scandicci wants too much money and only Vero Volley is willing to pay. Zhu Ting is the plan B, in case Pietrini will actually end up as a new player of Vero Volley.
Vero Volley won't need local MBs. As long as they keep Orro, Egonu, Sylla/Pietrini or an italian libero (since Castillo will go back to Scandicci).
I'm curious about Candi's future. This girl gets the job done and it's underrated.
chieri won it 15-13 at tie
So sad I was rooting for paris...they fight with everything
2 errors in last oart of set killed them
I wonder why enright didn't play
Is Fefa in good shape this season? Last time I saw her (in LVSF) she wasn't.
Neuchatel is always an American colony. Happy for them.
I love Ana Ivanovic. Most beautiful human being playing tennis.
Watching Scandicci, I feel like Zhu Ting may not be a great addition to Imoco. She is/was amazing for sure, but I doubt she can handle the pressure Plummer is experiencing every single game.
Also I'm not sold on Gabi for Robinson.
When Eczacibasi plays its best, they really play good volleyball. Pity it barely happens and they are OOS 70% of the time in order to keep Gray on court.
I guess, Conegliano is now the hottest candidate for the victory in this season.
It's been Imoco and Fener since it started.
It depends a lot on how both teams will performe in the single games. Imoco was tired yesterday, but had a crucial win. Fener was way below the expectations.
Hi! You can check out KOVO's website. I believe they have even the previous year's stats. Just use Google Auto Translate for the English version.
This is the best I found. It's not full.
I was looking for something like this. Did I miss it on the website or that's the best they provide?
Is there a way to find players' cumulative stats for a tournament? For example 2018 KOVO Cup?
I hope the girls wil be fired up for the game in Italy. They looked so tired today... expecially Wolosz and Plummer.
Most of the players from Imoco look totally exhausted to me (which is something normal, considering how many important games they had to play in the last 2 weeks).
This is not a good sign for Vakif: in normal conditions they would be swept. The drop of Cansu's and Zehra's level this season is something to really worry about.
This league is just super fun to watch.
Grand Rapids is just so dominant, they always close sets in a dominant way, but whenever the game is close, they always lose. It's something to work on. They chocked multiple times already.
Yes I agree, shame Pukis doesn't get a chance this way I also expected more from Hilley to be honest...
Pukis is out with a injury.
IMHO Omaha and Grand Rapids are the 2 teams to beat this season. Atlanta is way too dependent on Edmond and Cleveland (she's one of the most pleasant surprises so far in her first pro season).
Monserez started the last game instead of Dilfer and did a very good job.
It seems Tori is in poor shape (she didn't even play AUV in the fall).
Tomkom so far is disappointing as well.
Alisha Glass and Evans are like rulers so far on the setter position.
