If you want world peace, you have no choice but to change the structure. For example, countries on different continents that meet certain conditions could form a joint team. There are any number of methodologies.

I never thought youth camps can be that profiitable for volleyball over there. I even thought baseball and softball has more youth participation.

they had $46 million in revenue in 2023. that's like a 30% increase on 2022. Most of that increase coming from membership and ticket sales re: youth events.
Meanwhile a good % of their expenses are related to the national team.
They spend 1.3 m on marketing, but over 1.1m of that is just payroll, travel costs, or credit loss expense.... they're spending less than $200,000 on marketing their events (paid, not including anything organic)... a fraction of that would be for the national team.
I understand that they're not operatiing on red but they can take it even bigger with better marketing. I thought with LOVB, they'd ride along with promotions.
Turkiye did really well with how they capitalized on their NT. I remember watching VNL 2018 or 2019 with decent crowd for Turkiye to selling out theig big arenas post pandemic.

Do you see USA Basketball foaming at the mouth to promote NBA or WNBA for that matter. They never have and they never will.
women's sports being a big discussion in the USA of needing promotion is the line i'm going for here. specially since volleyball trails far behind basketball in popularity. so I thought USAV would help promote women's sports in their department and make noise with theit NT program in the process (Turkiye having more fans in the VNL match held in the USA against USA). USA NT is probably one of the NTs who have low crowd turnouts in home games.
in what universe is their pro league struggling? lovb's trophy is by tiffany and co better than anything vnl put out
social media is for engagement not basis for financial stability
tiffany designing their trophy is not a sign of anything either. we'll see how LOVB pan out in the next 3 years or so. if they can manage to sell the teams or not.
the "promotiing women's sports" hype is a (good) thing in the USA right now and businesses tend to join in the noise (except USAV it seems).
