true, but Grajber isn't the same kind of player she used to be back in the day. She was capable of scoring lots in Aydin, hopefully she can maintain that level and in Tauron Liga it should be easier.
Yeah but even in Aydin she wasn't that efficient with OOS balls and definitely not comparable to Damaske

OH Julita Molenda rumored to join Budowlani
If that's true their OH lineup will be much weaker than last year. Buterez worked because Damaske was taking care of scoring

I just watched the highlight video of GER-JPN and three moments show how those new lift rules are a complete disaster:
In the very first rally, Weitzel pushes a ball over the net with two hands. It was a very short contact, but the referee calls it a lift. However, at 1:50, Seki plays a two-handed setter dump and this is allowed.
I agree that the rules are a disaster but the difference there is that the ball after Seki's dump is the same touch as a set and Weitzel uses both hands to kinda push the ball in court. Both should be allowed if I were to make the rules but they are different

I love that Mogilno got some money this season
-
There's like 15 people involved and it looks like everybody is confused
-
That French backup setter couldn't deliver a single hittable set when she entered, it was embarrassing
She looked like an MB trying to set, and even for those standards she would still have done a poor job
I genuinely thought she was a MB with the way she was setting

If FIVB really wanted to change something for the better it should start with the challenge system. Currently it looks amateurish
-
I kinda forgot how Ferhat looks like since he's not coaching any club team and why he's kinda hot

-
I don't know what's so difficult about it or why they make it so difficult. It should be: short touch with fingers = allowed, long touch with palm of the hand = not allowed. All the balls that have been called in the matches I've watched have been short touches while several longer/more "thrown" balls were allowed and that doesn't make any sense to me at all.
Well that makes sense and all that but we all know the level of FIVB referees. I feel like many technicalities are lost on them
-
Somehow lift calls and non-calls now are even more confusing than before
Balls I expected to be banned still pass but every now and then referee call a totally random tip as lift
I feel like referees just honestly don't know what's supposed to be called and I knew it would be like this
-
The only issue is that I don't see Szczurowska as a double sub player, at least not as much as Sieradzka. And we all know that Stysiak will start no matter what
-
Tbh that looked like a floor touch but who am I to complain

It absolutely was, but it comes to a point that I'm not even surprised they get it wrong
-
Who would've thought that we will have the blessing of Szczurgonu today
-
Grabka's inability to set middles is KILLING me
-
Wait, Artyshuk’s footwork is like she is a leftie. I dont know whats that called in English (ters ayak in türkish I believe). Its interesting there isnt many players with that technique in professional volleyball.
Yeah other than her I can only think of Goncharova, Bici and that young player from Belarus who plays for Le Cannet

Wenerska announced in Budowlani
Dudek announced in Radomka

Official FIVB rule (approved for competitions in 2026, including the VNL): In FIVB tournaments, teams may register between 12 and 14 players on their match roster. There must be at least one libero, and a maximum of two may be designated.
Yeah so he can take 16 players to China and register 12 to 14 before each match

What is very interesting to me is the battle for the OH position. I’ll share an unpopular opinion: for me (and I bet for the coach as well), the 5th OH is Damaske.
To me Lampkowska is the 5th OH. She always underperforms in NT and she wasn't convincing during the friendlies

no medal ceremony?
What are the placements?
