Dutch middle blocker Roos Wessels confirmed she will play in Germany next season. Curious where she will end up, hopefully not Schwerin...
My guess is Wiesbaden. Felix will praise Paul's coaching skills.

I'm curious to see where Lara Schaefer ends up. I think it's clear from my previous comments that I like her as a player. We'll see if either she or Sarah Stiriz ends up as libero for the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg.
I guess Vilsbiburg will continue with Emely Brodowski as 1st Libera. After their last home game, they said goodbye to only two players (Burk and Brandhuber). The rest will likely stay.
Schwerin has started following two more players from the U.S. on Instagram: middle blocker Bre Kelley and outside hitter Lauren Rumel. So, with Devyn Robinson, there are at least three American players on the roster for next season. Let’s see if they announce Rampelberg, Kelley, or Rumel next.
Congrats to Suhl - well deserved ![]()

Schwerin started following Rampelberg on Instagram today. So it looks like it's a done deal.
Hamburg has announced Jakub Brecka as its new head coach https://www.ndr.de/sport/mehr_…recka,etvhamburg-100.html
Schwerin has mentioned on its website that the seven players leaving the club will play next season in “Germany, Italy, Poland, Turkey, and the U.S.”
Who do you think will go to the U.S.? Jaksetic, Reesink, or Stuut?
The others should be clear: van Clewe (Stuttgart, Germany), Artyshuk (Turkey), Grozer (Busto, Italy), and Vos (Poland)
Van Clewe in Stuttgart? I'm really not sure if that's the right move for her.
As far as I'm concerned, Dresden is already the favorite to win the title next season.
Interview with Leana Grozer in the Nordkurier newspaper. She confirms that she will be playing for Busto Arsizio next season. She says she could certainly have stayed in Schwerin for another year or two, but she was looking for a new challenge. Her stepmother Helena, who had nothing but good things to say about her time there, was likely a key factor in her decision to join Busto. She finds it reassuring to know that if things don’t work out in Italy, she “could return to Schwerin at any time.” She has not yet been contacted about the national team for the summer. Her focus for her final weeks in Schwerin is on passing her driver’s license.
I think the seven players who are staying are a solid foundation. I consider ten Brinke and Gerritsen a strong starting middle blocker duo. I hope they sign a good libera. That will be key to taking some of the pressure off Kok in reception. There are a few rumors in Schwerin that Patricia Llabres is coming back, but I don’t know if it's true or just wishful thinking.
Yes. Of the 14 players on this season’s roster, 7 are leaving the club.
The following players will remain in Schwerin: Anne Hölzig, Hannah Kohn, Finnja Frommann, Mia Kirchhoff, Suus Gerritsen, Jet Kok, and Marije ten Brinke.
Leaving players are: Anna Artyshuk, Leana Grozer (Italy), Britte Stuut, Vedrana Jakšetić, Luisa Van Clewe, Iris Vos and Florien Reesink.
Koslowski is quoted as saying that consistency in performance was lacking this season.
It is not yet clear whether the club will play in the CEV Cup or the Champions League, according to reports.
According to Volleybox, all of Schwerin's Dutch players except Stuut are under contract with them for next season. Not sure how reliable this is though.
Jaksetic and Artyshuk have been very disappointing throughout the season, especially considering how well Artyshuk did in Suhl before. In general I think Koslowski is a good coach, but it might not be good to mix club duties and NT duties as much as he did this season with bringing so many Dutch players to Schwerin.
I wonder if Luisa van Clewe regrets going to Schwerin, she got very little court time and I don't see her being in the mix for NT anymore with many other young MB talents shining this season in the league. Also Leana Grozer has been disappointing IMO, sure she had a lot of health issues but she didn't nearly have as much impact as last season.
I also think that putting the team together this way wasn't a good idea. As I said, I'm not sure if Reesink will stay. There will be a fan festival on Monday. The players who are leaving the club will certainly be announced there.
I think people in Schwerin are glad the season is over. Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard on several occasions that there was a real lack of harmony within the team. Vedrana Jaksetic, in particular, had a tough time against the Germany/Netherlands squad. But Anna Artyshuk also seemed to be rejected by some of the other players. That might explain the poor performances. Team spirit has always been a hallmark of Schwerin in recent years; players like Meg Wolowicz always made an effort to bring everyone together. That clearly didn’t happen at all this year.
The Schwerin daily newspaper reported this week that Jet Kok and Suus Gerritsen will continue to play for Schwerin next year. I’ve also heard a few rumors that there might be a change at the libero position next season.
I can't imagine that the Wolfsgrube is suitable for CL. They may have to move.
What an amazing performance by Dresden. I'm so happy they won.
I have to admit, I am embarrassed by the non performance of Stuttgart in the first two sets - not worthy for a l league leader, close to denial of playing professionally, sorry for that, and it was the key reason for defeat. And incredible, that Suhl didn't let any nervosity in , but Stuttgart eased that of course giving the two first sets easily away.
I believe that the match between Suhl and Stuttgart will also be the final game for the German championship. So Stuttgart will get quick revenge. I think that the depth of Stuttgart's squad will prevail then. Despite the defeat, it remains an incredible season performance by Stuttgart!
The best final in years. I was thoroughly entertained. Congratulations to Suhl.

When I watched a Borken game, I had the feeling that Arne Ohlms was already providing more impulses than Danuta Brinkmann during the timeouts.
