What happened to De nardi? Not that she will be deeply missed🤣

I watched the game while multitasking so not sure, but iirc she hurt her leg/knee last game. I remember Leonardi entering for her and De Nardi was sitting on the sideline rubbing the spot where Europeans put their knee pads  she could walk off the court by herself though, so perhaps it might be just a precaution?

Who do you guys think MVP of the regular season was? Antropova, Haak or Egonu? Or someone else?

Obviously Zhuang YS, her presence alone turned Consolini from clear-cut favourites for last spot without any wins, to ending with 7 wins and 24pts :drink: after her arrival everything finally fell into place for them. Also Knollema carried Firenze to 9th place which should not have been possible with that thin line-up but somehow they managed it

And now seriously, I'd say Tolok could easily content with those three you mentioned. Not only did she often lead her team in scoring but I think her energy also brought them a lot :box:

She has been performing much better than last season, especially her reception has become more solid. She is clearly main libero for Münster now, last season she lost her spot to Lara Schaefer.

Yay go Pippa :rose: happy to hear she's developing well. I like her as a captain in the U-squads, so I am glad to hear she's staying in Münster for another year and gaining experience as starter!

I was ready to scream at my TV for not seeing Tia but actually Onye was great, a few attacks were lucky but the majority were unstoppable :box:

Omaha gave their lead in the first set away, and after that it was... meh. Blossom did not connect with Drewniok at all, and should have tried to involve MBs more. Sadly Dijkema was only able to do double sub entry but those few moments they looked to have a better flow. Subbing out Jaali in backrow set 3 was a choice because she was doing more than fine and Larson was not on her usual reception level, also not reversing the sub in front row..?! :sos: maybe they'll save their stellar performances for the finals tournament (again) lol but for now they look to be competing with Madison for last place.

They broadcasted the final three performances on TV here and wow that was ... something. The pressure cracks lol not only one or two but all three?! Guess I gotta rewatch the winner's performance bc now I'm curious

It looks like Anna Piovesan might play in San Giovanni's match against Milano. She's seen in their Bagherone group foto today.

I saw her wearing the libero shirt during the last game as well :rose: tbh Zhuang YS - Nardo duo is doing well lately but it would be nice if Piovesan could make an appearance in one of the remaining matches to properly celebrate not relegating with them! Even if it's just for one service or as a blocking sub

Haven’t the fans bullied that girl from Pinerolo during one game, because of her performance? I don’t remember her name, but Smarzek gave that player her MVP to cheer her up. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I think you mean Elena Perinelli? I remember it, but not the details of the situation

Maaike Heilig (Dutch MB) going to Pittsburgh. Hope it will work out better than Mourits, because she is a talented middle blocker!

Omg go Maaike  she better be a starter because I agree, she's such a big talent! And probably the only 18-year old I could see in our U22 squad this summer. Considering her age, I guess it's more likely for her to go the full 3/4 years (i e. do a bachelor's degree as well) than just the one semester like Dagmar did?

    Episodes again........

Red messages and topic closed sooner or later.

Where is copra btw, watching Milano Cortina i guess. Pitty, he would enjoy this 😂

This is on topic actually, whoever dare to talk about CL is off topic btw.

Watch me be a daredevil! :mirror:

    When's the next round?

Dijkema is out for today's game with a head injury (presumably a concussion)

ln her latest podcast episode she mentioned that she even lost a few milliseconds in her memory, as she didn't remember how the ball got to Drewniok for attack :sos: but also that this season they had to have a testing for base level and apparently she did the test better than her base line even after that hit?! Still good she's gonna be out for today, better to take proper rest.

Also good luck to Gabby blocking Alexa :dance6:

I was watching on Rai and it's an absolute shame that the commentators knew nothing about the volleyball players and did not even mention that they were champions and gold medalists:aww::aww: They better fire those 2

Wow, really? Even here they mentioned the girls' names, that they were olympic champions (both teams) and that volleyball is an important/popular sport in Italy. I didn't expect to see them pop up on my screen so i was happily surprised! :rose: And also a very short Sylla sighting in the compilation of the flame's journey from Greece to Italy

Milano-Cortina26 organising committee recognizing the Olympic titles in volleyball, allowing Danesi, Egonu and Cambi to walk the olympic flame into the stadium  also three of the men's team were there but the commentator didn't mention their names (and couldn't recognize them in their winter looks lol)
