He is basically an OPP standing in the middle. He hits half balls rather than quick middle balls.
Yesterday, Christenson gave him a rather quick ball, but he couldn't hit it at the right window and only tipped it.
Yeah that is why I think maybe he can do a Nimir and shift position to Opp as maybe it would capitalize his strength more.

You just hate the Isikawa siblings because of the fame they got. not their fault they are likeable and I would say that while they are not the best in their position they are sitll very skilled.

That Serbia match showed we really need a third OH option. I didn't think Kitty or Sato were "horrible" but they were flimsy. At least Yoshino hung on with her serve
I don't understand why Funhat isn't utilizing Sakae. She did well in her appearance earlier. I like Tsukasa but I wish they wouldn't show those end of court cam closeups of her trying to block lol. I know it's bad I just don't want to see itHaving Tsukasa frontrow is really a risk that will not work most of the time. Her sets are also a bit low tbh but maybe that was the strategy. Biggest question mark is indeed the 3rd OH tbat can score.

I was watching the German league and I was just not impressed with her spikes and shot selection. You could argue she had power in 2024 but in 2025-2026 season in the German league, I just did not see it. Just my observation. ✌️ Again, I still think she can grow. Maybe it is a slump.

I honestly think Akimoto lacks power. I find her spikes too flimsy and her defence as too clumsy. She is still young so she still has to grow.
