I'd like to add one thing about today: mad respect to the Americans girls, you don't see very often someone taking a tough loss like the Olympic final with such grace, class and gratefulness like them. Rettke and Plummer hugging Orro and Moki like teddybears, Washington trying to be the life of the party, all that really was a beautiful description of Olympic spirit. Maybe it's silly, but it just made the day even more special for me and probably even harder to cope with the fact that most of these girls won't be in our arenas delighting us with their plays and presence.
thought i was the only one who noticed this! the women's silver medalist took it with so much class compared to the men's silver medalists
