Ahh yes they lost against Vallefoglia and only Egonu did well such a quality high class setter

And you never say anything good about Egonu it's always negative.

No wonder Bosio got into Italy's wide roster... no wait she didn't

Whether you like it or not,Milano has been more successful with Bosio so far this season(winning the supercup) than with Orro the previous two seasons.Personally,I'm a little bit disappointed with Bosio's performance so far,but her sets to the pins are good technically,it's the distribution that is the problem.

Imo,Bosio's big weakness this season has been her distribution.I don't understand why Lavarini hasn't instructed her to set the middles more and also I don't understand why she sets Piva so many times when they are oos.Maybe it will better for Milano,if Piva gets more sets when they are in system.

There is currently only 1 solution for Milano- LYY. The rest would just be a band-aid for their OH problem. Not even Lukasik would change that much really, you would just have 3rd and 4th OH of last season Conegliano in a worse roster overall lol, you can’t compete with that.

I'm not sure that the "worse roster" is true, because they have got weaker in their ohs theoretically, but they have also got stronger in setter and libero positions. Also,we have to take into account Kurtagic's potential improvement and bigger experience.

Imo,for Chieri everyone played well and they should be happy for their performance, especially considering it's the second match of the season and they seemed to have good chemistry.Otoh,I think Danesi and Bosio were in a bad day and were the weaklinks for Milano.Danesi, seemed indifferent about the game to me.Some of her reactions were very bad for this level and she couldn't help her team in crucial points. As for Bosio,I'm disappointed.I thought that technically her setting was good in general, but her ball distribution was very bad today. After some point in the first set,it was like she completely forgot about Piva and she made Milano's game predictable.Last but not least,Lavarini is also to blame, imo, because he was very bad with his subs(apart from Pietrini) and he should have substituted Sartori in,instead of Danesi. Also, about Chieri's 41 errors, maybe they are also counting overpasses(which Milano couldn't really take advantage of).

The people who kept hyping Piva are you actually ok?

She gave nothing and showed nothing and you guys were foaming at the mouth because Velasco excluded her when in reality her level is below average. The only unknown Italian player with loud rabid onlyfans lying through their teeth about her potential

First of all,it was a friendly game.Secondly,it is understandable, that with the transition from Mikasa to Molten ball the players might need some time to adjust and it wasn't only Milano players, lots of mistakes from some players in both matches looked uncharacteristic.Your point about Piva was kinda invalid because she was playing with different ball last season and she had no rhythm because she wasn't playing with the nt in the summer and of course maybe the transition from a mid-table team to a top ranked team might be difficult.Lastly,Milano has a lot of changes compared to last season and lots of players were competing with their nts,so it's natural they might need some time to find chemistry and find their roles on court.

Piva has good potential no one's saying she's trash but I mean I have to agree she's not worth that much. If we're considering the salary of players in Turkiye then by all means Piva should just go to Turkiye. No single A1 team should be that desperate for her but well that's on Milano lol the only winner here is Piva.

Imo,since Milano paid the same amount for Pietrini's buyout last year(unless I don't recall correctly),then it's fine giving that money for Piva.First of all,she is Italian,so she is leaving a foreigner slot available.Secondly, she has the characteristics that Milano needs and would make a very good oh duo with Lanier. Is there any other player available,at this level that has the same characteristics as Sylla and Piva?Lastly, she is indeed a good player and has potential to become better and with a setter like bosio it could make it easier for her.So yes, overall I think that she is worth that amount of money to transfer her.

What do you mean? Netherlands will play against opponents identical to Serbia's opponents:what:

They will play against the same opponents actually, but Serbia will play against Italy first(which theoretically is their toughest opponent),while the Netherlands will face them in their last match, maybe this will have an impact on Serbia's psychology. Also, the Netherlands did look a little bit more convincing to me.

    Remaining schedule for Men's VNL

Turkey and Japan have hardest schedule for the final week (lowest scores), and Italy, Ukraine and Slovenia have the easiest (highest scores)

Also Canada has a pretty nice schedule.Imo,they could beat all four of their opponents,so they have hopes for top 8.I think, that the Netherlands have a bit easier schedule than Turkey and Serbia and if they can play like in the third set against Iran, they could get some important wins.Lastly,I'd say that top 3 have pretty much guaranteed their qualification, but from places 4-10,there is going to be a big battle for 5 spots.

Sylla was previously considering Kaliningrad... This only shows that she wants to leave Milano at all costs and this is already a sign of how unprofessionally this club works... And now they will be in a hurry to find a successor: Nervini? Lukasik? Degradi has supposedly already refused them.

Imo,if Milano, decides to let Sylla sign with a different team, then, they should also try to get Piva from Busto Arsizio. However, I don't think they would let Sylla go to a different team, because who is available rn and at the same level with Sylla? Also out of the names you mention,no one is at the level of Sylla.

You can jerk off all you want about piva it's human nature or whatever essay you have to write about to stay off topic

But the thing is nobody wants her in their team. If not Velasco, one of the assistant coaches, or agents/consultants, even the players themselves could've said something like hey this girl might have good stats according to the internet

But nobody... nobody wants to have her in their team lmao

Sylla and Piva were the two best italian ohs last season.Busto was the surprise of the last season and Piva was a key player for them. The best players don't always get called for various reasons, but when you have a young player with potential,in a position that you are lacking compared to other top teams, imo you should call them.Since,Eze got a chance, then Piva should get one too.Lastly, the stats are available,so you can judge for yourself whether Piva deserved or didn't deserve to get called.

Are you sure that staying in the VNL for Serbia is good? They are losing a lot of wr points and they don't really consider it a top priority. Also I think that Korea should also be relegated because they have lost way too many wr points and they don't have good enough roster for vnl, imo.

Has anyone told to Lambrini that she will be beheaded if she uses her MB? 125 sets to the OH and OPP and 20 to MB is crazy.

Its the coach's job to give instructions to the setter when the team gets stuck.Have you seen our coach being good?Personally,I would have swapped Tontai with Papageorgiou after the 1st set.Terzoglou was good today. The coach wasted the challenges too early in the fifth set. Also, once again big service streaks for the opponent which led to losing the lead and the set, from 15-13 in the third to 25-19 and from 7-5 in the fifth to 15-11.

Really I do not understand what they try to do in Fener. All these moves reveal a desperate desire to win and nothing more . They invest so much money only to sign players with similar characteristics ( Arina , Anna, Li) and problems. And despite having the same technical issues and it is difficult to believe that a team with Hande, Orro and Arina will manage to show right attitude towards Guidetti's Vakif that always play their best in the crucial matches and they already has subdued them in a mental level. Even this season despite having clearly a better team they were too stressed when they play against them. Just like Milano with Imoco.

At least they signed Korneluk.Arelya is a good setter,I think, she should have played more this season. If Orro doesn't play well, she could come off the bench and contribute. How they'll do will also depend on how Gizem will play, because she wasn't in good shape,in the finals.Milano will have Bosio next season and I believe they could surprise.

Only serve lol🤣🤣🤣 she is like one of the best servers ever in volleyball history, she gets 3-4 aces per game, it is not 'just serve' also she is not a bad blocker to give Zhu an edge on that.

I don't think it will happen but Arina would be a great addition to conegliano, even an upgrade to zhu

Fener was the team with the best service,in the turkish league, however, they ended up getting swept by Vakif. So service alone doesn't win you games.

They have zhu who has comparable reception/defense skills. Arina could do fine in conegliano system while receiving next to Gabi/de Gennaro

Zhu's blocking and defence, are better than Arina's.Also, imo,Zhu is better OOS and makes less unforced errors, only in service Arina is better.Apart from that, this season and the last season,Conegliano has as starters, players with experience of winning titles(unless, that was a coincidence),so that's also a reason that Arina doesn't fit Imoco.

    omg another Hungary comeback.

Nemeth and Anthouli both had 35 points

For Greece it is a problem that only Martha was reliable today.Bakodimou and Strantzali should definitely contribute more, especially since they are bad receivers.Baka should have been subbed in especially in the 1st and 5th set that Greece was leading.Last but not least,it is a very bad idea that both Strantzali and Bakodimou play as the starting the oh duo, with Baka or Asimina being one of the two ohs, they would have a more balanced oh duo.
