How come does Poland always play Grand Prix?
GP 2004 - 1st place in qualification in Pila.
GP 2005 - 3rd in Turkey (Ankara or Istanbul)
    GP 2006 - 3rd place in Quba
    GP 2007 - 3rd place in Varna
GP 2008 - Poland in 2006, 2007 organize tournaments (Wild Card)
    GP 2009 - Wild Card
GP 2010 - 3rd place on ECH - directly qualified
    GP 2011 - Wild Card

    Ain't that the truth!
I don't have anything against the Polish team, but their draw has been a joke. Some teams like Serbia and Germany were screwed over real hard so that Poland could play Argentina and Dominican Republic over and over again.

Chill out guys! First of all SRB is playing their first GP. There is no draw in GP. In making groups they are taking in consideration position in last year GP. The teams which wasn't play always are in worst situtation. There is no fault of Poland that Russia, Korea, Serbia, Cuba, Argentina, Peru didn't play in 2010. Ofc Poland has very good relations with FIVB, but this is not for nothing. We organize tournaments and we have big support from TV Polsat. Probably only Japan and maybe China could secure this too.

Yes, it's true, Bera has got new nose :P
And I really don't understand why she did it :S

I understand why she did it xD She doesn't feel good with the old one ;) I think this old nose was a bit like a typical nose of witch in cartoons ;)
Esra in 2009 change her nose too.

we don't have 2 healthy MB in our country so Podolec need to play as MB, i think she normally trains as OH/opp

This position is the last chance for Podolec ;( She isn't ready to play as wing spiker. Probably it will not be 100% allright with her shoulder anymore ;( On MB position they don't must attack so often and this is a chance for her.

Pelc also won't play, she's injured too. Podolec will have to play as MB, we haven't any other choice

Pelc has problems during matches with Japan. Now there is no info about her so she is probably OK right now.

And on the right site beside it is a banner "FIVB TV" and below that it says in which countries they don't broadcast.

I checked the schedules of Eurosport and Sport1, the only two sports channels in Germany, and none of them has GP matches planned. Sport1 showed German Men's World League matches, but most matches only in pay TV channel  Maybe they bought the rights for GP and show final round if German team qualifies, they also bought the rights for Men and Women ECHs for Germany. I hope at least some matches will be live in free TV

In Mozilla Firefox it wasn't this banner. I checked in Internet Explorer and I found it ;(

Its written in FIVB channel in laola1.tv when you put inside one of the games, for example - http://www.laola1.com/en/int/v…video/201-1706-58099.html

There dont say anything about Brazil, but I think also here in Brazil we wont be able to watch laola1.tv :( It was like that last season, and since Sportv (glob) have the wrottes to show Brasil matches...they are the wrose with this things...and anoys,c ause I want to watch other games too not only Brasil ones!!!

Maybe I'm blind but I didn't see anything ;) Only:

    Dear LAOLA1-User,

This stream starts on Friday, 05.08.2011 at 10:00h CET.

    With kind regards,
    LAOLA1-Team

Poland on first weekend and (99% on all GP):

Radecka, Wołosz, Okuniewska, Efimienko, Pelc, Podolec, Kosek, Kasprzak, Kaczorowska, Kruk, Konieczna, Kwiatkowska, Maj, Saad.

Sawicka don't want to play in NT. I think that this position isn't our biggest problem. Maj is quite good and will be good alternative for Zenik. Wojtowicz is after knee injury. Werblinska has artroscopy of her ankle, not knee.
Our main problem right now are OH, which could receive well. I think that Kosek is ready to play as main player. There is a problem with second one. Each of them don't have good reception skills, but in Yeltsin Cup Kasprzak was good in this element. I hope that Konieczna, Kwiatkowska are training reception too, because when Skowronska and Kaczor will be back probably none of them (or only one) will be in squad. I think that their chances on OH will be higher.
We will see what about Jaszewska. She has very good season in Wroclaw. Maybe it will be good alternative.

On this moment our squad for ECH probably would be like this:
Setters: Radecka, Wołosz, Bełcik - 2 weeks break right now, inflammation of throat)
MB: Okuniewska, Efimienko, Gajgał, Pelc, Podolec (OPP/OH)
OH: Kosek, Kasprzak, Kaczorowska, Jaszewska, Kruk, Frąckowiak
OPP: Skowrońska, Kaczor, Konieczna (OH), Kwiatkowska (OH)
    Libero: Maj, Saad

I hope that Frąckowiak and Bełcik will join the girls which will be training in Legionowo, because they will not play during GP. I wrote Podolec as MB because she played on this position during friendly matches with Japan. I don't know if this was only for a while (Pelc has problems with abd muscle at this time). I care who is this 5th girl, which can join. 100% this is not Glinka. I think that could be Bednarek-Kasza which isn't pregnant and will train with Muszynianka. It could be Tokarska, Wojtowicz too. Maybe Ela Skowrońska will join the team after Universiade ??

It's also the reason why in the past Guidetti sometimes had 3 liberos in 14 player roster, 2 as regular libero and 3rd as normal player, used as reception substitute. So I wonder who will be Brazil's 2nd libero, because if something would happen to Fabi, the 2nd libero would have to play in the rest of the tournament as far as I know.

Yup, but it was unnecessary in ECH 2009 in Poland. But it was new rules then and maybe he don't know that he can use second libero as defense player.

By the way, I thought in 14 player roster had to be 2 liberos??

I has the same opinion. Maybe they will choose one of the girls and apply her as a second libero. This is possible. As we know on WCH some of the players was selected as libero and the second libero was playing as defense player (e.g. Turkey, Gokcen was second libero, Guresen was as OH). In Poland Maj was selected as libero and can not be substitute in back court for Glinka. In ECH the rules are different. You must have 2 liberos but the second one can be in 12 as not libero player.

I remember that after first injury in 2004, when Podolec was starting play again, she was trying on MB too. On this position player don't attack so often as on OPP, and balls are rather better (easier) to finish. As we know after all this injuries Podolec has mental problems, so she must gain much confidence in herself and on her shoulder.

Japan started 1st set with Ebata and Yamamoto instead of Ishida and Iwasaka. In 2nd set they changed them or in first set and started in main team second part
