If you're using the divx codec to watch with the WMP, you could set the divx codec itself to 16:9. That ought to solve the problem when watching the new WC videos of Justyna :)

Again, I suggest you use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer as your internet browser. Firefox has a nifty add-on that you can download which bypasses the slot limitations of any country hehehehe

In my location..in Brazil..the megaupload does downloads only with the toolbar...and the toolbar has a many malwares, spywares and adwares...The anothers servers for example rapidshare, easyshare, sendspace..and anothers that not have anything premium..the megaupload is very good server but it has many problems for the users of Brazil that have download the toolbar to the slots stays free and we can download on teh megaupload.

Shift your internet browser from Internet Explorer to Firefox, then download and install this add-on:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3843

It gives you free slots without having to download the Megaupload toolbar (which sucks!)

    Hope this helps, Borodokova :)

And if you look at the end of the match in the pool play between Brazil and Russia in last year's WCH where the Fabiana and Merkulova shouting match occured, you'll see Lyuba calming down Fofao and Walewska during the shaking of hands. Now that's a diplomatic sportswoman :)

Finally, someone posted it! hehehe Thanks a million :D

Matthias: I had the same problem - all sound, no video. Good thing I have a codec checker, and it said it was encoded using fmp4. An easy check in Google, and voila, missing codec downloaded and problem solved

I've heard about guess #1 some time ago and I think the player was Tatiana Gracheva

I was actually thinking of the same thing!

Yipee, finally, a match with the commentary in English!

Even if the Arabian commentator was very enthusiastic in the other matches, I couldn't help but cringe everytime he'd mangle the names of the players hahaha

    Thanks, Justyna!

Uhmmm, it's not working for me either

I checked with my codec checker and, yes, the codec is divx, but it also has a compatibility note saying that there's a Google data chunk, whatever that means....

Did you rip it out of a dvd, or did you just copy the file from the dvd itself? Does the .avi file itself play in your computer?

Patience, patience folks haha! Almost done uploading, gimme a day or two and all the links will be up :)

xopxeech: It's in the 6th part onwards.

    RNK: Nah, sorry :(

samba: you're welcome. by the way, where's the sydney cub vs. russia gold you promised to post? hahaha

I don't know when it started but at 1996 Olympics the yellow card was given to Mireya Luis and Carvajal but also to Brazilian players (I don't remember the name right now).

It was actually Bernardinho who got the yellow card  He was arguing heatedly with the 2nd referee (?) and started yelling the F word at him!

Hey folks! I think you'd like this one 8)

P.S. I tried upping it on Megaupload, but it's taking forever, so I switched to sendspace because it's waaaay faster. Download it while it lasts. Enjoy!

    Hi redhawkvb!

You might want to check both links. As Shinya said, the first one one is restricted to premium users. The second one is exactly is Gottlib's link to the 3rd set of the WGP 2007 Russia vs. Poland match.

    Thanks.

    a) You might have exceeded the download limit for free users, so you really don't have a choice but to wait.

    b) If you're experiencing download slots limit and you're using internet explorer, try installing the megaupload toolbar.

    c) If you're using firefox, you might want to download the megaupload add-on extension instead of the toolbar

I'm using firefox, and for some weird reason, the download limits disappeared without my adding either the toolbar or the extension, plus after 3 hrs or so after my last download, I could start download stuff again teeheeheehee

I know! Russia really surprised me in the first 2 sets. They were really going after each ball like there was no tomorrow. Sokolova was having a hard time getting a clean kill, but she was really playing smart volleyball by tooling the very formidable Chinese blocks. Feng, on the other hand, was simply amazing! She was blocking like crazy, and hitting a few balls as well.

    Quote from "chalsr"

The point I was referring to happened in the first set, some time after the first technical time out. Russian ball set to the outside and blocked straight up by China. Feng hit the ball on the ensuing play and Tyurina (although a couple of feet off the net), still jumped to stop the ball. That's a block, is it not? It wasn't a huge point, but it gave Russia some momentum after being down two or three points. Plotnikova was my favourite Russian for her attitude and sportsmanship, but hardly got set. I think she got two sets in the last three sets of the match. Anyway, hope China can hold off your Russians in 2008.

Out of curiosity, I checked out that particular play (first set, Chn 13-Rus 12) Zhang and Feng blocks Sokolova but the ball ends up in the air near the right side of the net of the Chinese court. Feng decides to take a swing at it, but on the Russian side, no one is up on the net to block. Tyurina, waiting in the front area to dig, then takes a little hop/skip and raises her hand seemingly attempting to "block" the ball about two feet away from the net. From the TV angle, her hands do not appear to go over the net, so in my humble opinion, I don't think that action can be remotely called a block. Besides, Feng sharply angles her spike that it zooms past the the right side of Tyurina, rendering the "block" moot. Sheshenina gets a hand on the hit, but it sails out of bonds. However, Gamova goes after it digs the ball with one hand, overpasses to the Chinese court where Zhang tries to convert. Saokolova and Plotnikova reads what Zhang is about to attempt and blocks her. The ball falls on the Chinese court, with Zhou attemting to dig it to no avail. Point to Russia. 8)
