I think Laura Dijkema is a good setter... she deserves a chance to play in better league, at least Italian as now the economy is bad and all the ,,stars'' are leaving... She'll be very useful for some teams and she'll improve for sure.. at least she's not expensive so some teams may sign her

I absolutely love Larson. I think she is one of the best all around OH in the world... but I don't think she has surpassed Logan. Not in any way... Logan is not THAT great in attack anymore, but even her role was not to score... she could do it she proved in the final against Brazil when Hooker was stopped. And we know Logan is never playing for her club the way she plays for USA, so you can't compare that in terms of attacking. So I don't think Jordan has passed Logan in anything. Still great OH and if Logan doesn't return she'll be very very useful for USA

I am absolutely with you on this one. I also think Picci is a all-around player.. she is a good attacker, not like Del Core for example.. Picci can receive for sure but she can attack very well.. With Brait and Jaque she won't be under pressure for passing, that's for sure.. but as you said she can pass so that Thausa and Adenizia can attack

looks like Costagrande's transfer to Vakif is official?? On wikipedia on the article about her it says she's going to play for Vakif for the 20131/2014 season..

She is my favorite turkish player! I love her now even more.. so happy for her because in the start of the season everyone said she is very weak, not a good player, weakest link in Vakif.. My IMO she is the best turkish MB, not just attacker (like Eda)

I think she has a good awareness of the game and usually knows which hitters are available to hit and she does a decent job of sending the ball to them. No jumpsetting, nothing flashy,etc... just remembering the priority -- to make sure the set is hittable.

Logan was setting even when Lindsay was subbed with Hanneef, just to block, and they left Hooker backrow so Logan came from the back and set.. I don't know which game was it but she set overhead to Hanneef. It was great.. and she said that in an interview - What other position would you like to play other than OH, she said setter

Kim's one of my favorite players, but her career since 2008 Olympics is going downwards. She was never a good passer but during the Olympics she passed good, that's why Jenny inserted her to the starting 6.. and then she missed the 2010 WCH, made a comeback during 2011 never got a real chance because USA had a new system and Larson was a way better receiver. When talking about qualities other than just setting the ball I think
Naz is the BEST BLOCKER. She can be counted as one of the best blockers
among Furst, Akinradewo... it's just that she is a setter and it's not
her job to block, but she and Furst are a block you can not pass, she

Wei has too but best setter server is Hanke definitely. And a defender I
