Did Glass play?
Yes she did but it was not one of her best. I think Glass and her teammates could not stand the pressure because against Bursa they did not look this bad. However, today it looked like they needed more time to function as a team.

You must really love Saori. Last year she showed nothing in Vakifbank, this year she shows nothing in Galatasaray and I don't think it will change during the season. She just doesn't fit into a league where height and power are the main elements.Saori had only one practice with the team, and since then she is back in Japan. How can she show something in G. Saray if she is with Japan NT all the time? It is far too early to say anything about her. Perhaps she didn't fit to Vakifbank but she can fit to G. Saray which has two powerful attackers but a shaky reception. Indeed, she can make the game of her team more stable.
Therefore, let us wait and see.By the way Rabadzhieva has an injury, thus Lo Bianco, Montano and Velikovic have played today. As we can see, it makes sense to transfer five foreign players. Also other clubs will miss players because WGCC. FIVB is really disrespectful towards the clubs that invest a lot of money in volleyball.

I would not wait that long. I think they will kick Barbolini when the team loses against Eczacıbaşı and Fenerbahçe. So Leo might lose her position in the team before January.
Do not mix up volleyball with soccer, they will wait until the end of the season. Futhermore, G. Saray has not a Naz on bench, thus I wouldn't expect miracles from Gamze. Vakifbank is the only club that has a good Turkish setter right now. Even setters like Özge and Nilay cannot satisfy the coaches.

If Barbolini keeps playing with Leo, nothing will change in this team. You can bring the best OHs and OPPs, it doesnt matter. She basically has a trust problem with any other MB than Gioli (Veljkovic in CL was an exception). She basically ruined more than 5 positions where she got a great reception and set to Montano instead of MBs. Please include Gamze & Veljkovic next time to the team!
I know I'm repeating myself but I think this is not Lo Bianco's choice but Barbolini's instruction. He gave the same instruction to Naz last summer. I also want to see Gamze playing but I doubt that she can play properly with this shaky reception. Moreover, Lo Bianco is like a second libero from time to time. Only Hanke can maybe beat her in terms of running.
Also Saori Kimura's absence is very unfortunate for the club. Howsoever, does any of you know when the next derby is? -

Leo is bad so far. She played with Sinem last year but she didnt set to her even the reception was good. I'm tired of watching sets to 2-4.
I am sure this is the strategy of Barbolini because Lo Bianco plays like Naz in Turkish NT.

Wow she is not???!!! Really interesting strategy of Barbolini to receive all these great serves of Vakıfbank with Neriman, Rabadzhieva and Nihan. I guess we will see a lot of aces and Bihter (2nd libero) today!
It is not a strategy of Barbolini as far as I know, she was called back to Japan.
