I think it is not a bad option, considering that Sabbi is not ready yet to play on this level IMO...in casi Fei can be switched to OPP and Beruto tried also Kovar-Savani-Parodi...I think there a lot of possibilities, let's see!

here is the list of Italian players that will fight for the Olympic qualification in Sofia:
    Setters: Travica e Boninfante

    Opposite: Lasko

Middle blockers: Fei, Mastrangelo e Birarelli

Hitters: Kovar, Papi, Parodi, Savani e Zaytsev

    Libero: Bari.

Germany doesn't "deserve"anything. They had their chances at the WC and here and they didn't produce. The rules are already laid out with the highest ranked Norceca team going to the qualification tournament. It would make absolutely no sense for the FIVB to change that policy just so Germany could play.

I mean that it is a pity not to see Germany in London...Fivb mustn't change anything just for Germany but I think they're stronger than Puerto Rico and for the results they achieved recently they would have deserved another possibility! but the rules aren't like that...

Flo Bertone is a good MB I think, move well for her size, im a bit surprised she hardly been playing in Casalm. this season!

to be honest, I saw her this summer in the Junior World Championship in Peru and she didn't convince me 100% she was quite slow in blocking and she didn't exploit her height so much..Imean, I didn't so many powerful attacks!
anyway she is SOOOOOOOOOO young that she can just improve, I just saw her in that occasion! I think that she'll improve a lot..anyway Casalmaggiore has Nardini, a very experienced MB and Olivotto that is surprising a lot for her excellent performances...so maybe that is also why Flo is in bench..

I think that Guidetti works very well with young players. It's not a problem of GER. The problem is lack of good players. In last years they achieved more that they could :!: And this is because of Guidetti. He created this team by inviting Brinker, Ssuschke, Beier, Weiss etc to NT. They were quite young when they started to play in starting six. Guideti trusted them a lot and it paid off. Now GER NT is still young and there is no need to make some generation change...

Polish TV commentator said that GER NT is like compressed lemon. They are playing very good but they simply can't be better.

Thanks to Grun's comeback they could achieve higer level. In this tournament she didn't play so good as last year. In general GER NT used to be rather poor at the beginning of the season. I think it's connected with Guidetti system of work (which maybe demands more trainings). Before that tournament he didn't have so much time :!:

I agree with oyu...Germany improved a lot thanks to Guidetti and also Grun's comeback gave them a lot of improvements..anyway now Grun is not playing so good (maybe blocks and defenses started to take better measures on her, and she is tired after the season) so german's level dropped! I'm very sorry for them as they are so nice and positive girls! I think that the greatest priority is to find a young OH that can substitute Grun in the future...and it can't be Beier or Matthes I think as they don't guarantee the same level of performance and Germany would be back again as they were before Grun's comeback!

I'm happy for Turkey and Poland but I'm very sad for Germany...!!
Ozsoy has been great yesterday, let's see what will happen today! I personally support Poland but I think that it will be very difficult today, it's the last chance for both and nobody will give up!
I think that Russia will have to work harder if they want to arrive in London and make something godd there!

I remind you that Crema setter is Rondon so everything is possible... There is also Togut, the first Italian player I like, ages ago!

In Loreto there is Moy, last year she played in Castellana and I like her very much, I saw her playing live 5 times...

In Santa Croce play Valeria Rosso, Lin friends XD I've never seen her playing but... she is a friend of Lin

yeah I knoe there all these good players, we'll see tomorrow! Casalmaggiore made an excellent year so far, Santa Croce lost too many important elements as Filipovics and Corjeutanu!
about Rondon:

And as regards Rabadzhieva, I think it's a very stupid decision by her to stay in Rabita just for money. She's a young and talented girl so she needs to play if she wants to become a great volleyball player! No way she can be in Rabita starting six!!

I agree with oyu..it is quite stupid also because she is very young and if she doesn't go to play and improve now she won't do it when she'll be older!!
