So Serbia is in the game again, and I think it is possible for them to beat Brasil. I give them 40% chances.
Poland beated Dominicana so easily, but this frustrating defeat against Japan may turn out very painful, if we are talking about sixth place. We should have done to Japan the same what did Cuba today. But we didn't

Poland is out of the first ranks anyway, the last matches are so unimportant, so why shouldnt he be allowed to leave the team when his wife is in bad condition? I cant and i dont want to call it irrespondible!
I would understand his decision as a player and i would try to support him.

I agree if we are talking about Bonnita's decision, but I don't think the last games are so unimportant. Ranking points, providing the better atmosphere into the team, etc. And the 6th (it will be hard to get it, but it is still possible) gives more chances to participate in the intercontinental tournament.

I have heard, that Bonitta's wife has some pregnancy complications. Her life and her child life is in danger... So , this reason seems to be enough.

And I promise to remind you what did you say today, about this shadow and so on, I like the coach, Neshic is great, we are on the right way, you'll see this very soon.

I'm looking forward for that :wink2:

Milena Rosner on the press conference: "We played and won for our coach, Marco Bonitta. We are with him with our whole heart." Maybe Bonitta's wife is in really bad health condition...

    Quote from "LothiePG"

But in GP, during the classification, Polish girls just won games against Russia and China, I don't understand what happened to them...! :cry2:

Maybe because Glinka didn't play in GP :wink2:

The Netherlands, Turkey and Romania (I didn't expect that before the tournament in Bulgaria; I thought: maybe Belgium, Bulgaria, Slovakia and here it is: Romania! :good: ) have already qualified to tournament in Halle. I think the biggest loser of prequalifications is Bulgaria, who were hosts and didn't use it. But this Bulgaria is just a shadow of the team from the past.

At last! Some precious victory against a good team. I didn't expected that after stuppid defeat against Japan, but it happend. Poland played with heart and character which is impressive after many bad matches. And Poland won without Bonitta... It doesn't have to mean anything but... it might.
Serbia didn't play well today, it wasn't also Janković game althought she scored many points.

    P.S.
I dont think, Lothie GP if there is a progress in Poland-Japan games. Between matches you have mentioned, Poland had clearly won against Japan in Grand Prix this year.[/quote]

Polish media says that Bonittas wife is in hospital and her health's condition is really bad. But we don't have any details about that. I can understand Bonitta's decission if his wife health is trully in danger.
By the way, Poland played today much better with Masacci as a coach :)

You know what? Poland has five games more, but I would like our team come back home now...Polish girls know that they're not in good mental condition and they fell worse than most of the teams in WC. Sometimes Sometimes I think it would have been better, if we hadn't been given this wild card...

    Tournament 1
    THE NETHERLANDS vs HUNGARY 3:0 (25:6, 25:16, 25:4)

Uuu... What a result. This points for Hungary in first and third set came probably from Dutch serve errors. It is not a surprise, but it is real knockout after all.

This result (USA-BRA) shows clearly that Brasil isn't unbeatable. You just have to trust in your skills, then everything is possible. USA just have done it, which I really appreciate.
Match between Poland and Kenya looked like a training (because of no audience too). Poland played without Glinka and Podolec, Skowrońska and Dziękiewicz were very shortly in the game. No problems for Poland to beat African team, which is the weakest in this tournament I think. It was a nice intermezzo for our team before next hard games.

    Quote from "AFROMAN"

When you are playing with passion and heart, than no matter what the result is, you should be greeted about this.

Yes, but I rather prefer unpretty victories than pretty loses...

It is over now... Two bad attacks of Podolec in the end of the tie-break and Cuba won the game. Too bad, Poland didn't use its chances to win this match. It was really possible, because Cubans didn't played any great volleyball today. This everything reminds me terrible World Championships last year... Now Poland has to fight "for honour". God! I hate this sentence. When you use it, it means you're totally defeated

    ITA-SRB/ I think it will be 3-1
    KEN - USA / 0-3, no doubts
DOM - KOR / I wouldn't be surprised, if Korea won that
CUB - POL / If we had won aginst USA, this game would be ours, but now... 3-1. I would like to be wrong...
    JPN - THA / 3-0
    BRA - PER /3-0
