Yes, they did. Düdingen made some good transfers and also have a new young coach. They had a very good start in the season (they even won against Köniz). But since then, they have been very unlucky (many injured players). It's really a pity for them.
Sorry I did not find anything about this in the media page so I thought I try it here. Maybe I will be lucky and a swiss member can help me if any matches of Volero Zurich (in champions league or also in the Swiss league) would be on Swiss TV live this season. It would be great if you could help me. Thanks in advance!
The small TV Channel SSF ("Schweizer Sportfernsehen" / http://www.schweizersportfernsehen.ch/ssf/start.asp?) usually broadcasts the Champions League matches of Volero Zürich live.
I doubt that it's possible to watch SSF on TV outside of Switzerland (on their website is written: "satellite reception is not possible").
But maybe you can watch SSF live online here: http://www.internettv.ch/sport/ssf-live
Tomorrow at 20.00 (local time) they will broadcast the match against RC Cannes. Probably the SSF-Commentator will speak "swiss german" dialect, so maybe you would have some problems understanding him (even if you speak german).
At the moment, there are no announcements of live broadcasts of any Swiss league matches. As far as i know, there are negotiations underway about a live broadcast of the Swiss Cup Final (2 March 2013). SSF usually broadcasts live also some matches of the TopVolley International friendly Tournament in Basel (end of December), where Volero Zürich traditionally participates (participants for 2012 aren't communicated yet).
The problem is that the home club (or/and the federation) would have to pay SSF for the production costs of a broadcasting. And the most clubs in Switzerland understandably don't want to spend a part of their relatively small budgets for a TV-production of an ordinary league match.
But, if there will be any live broadcasting of a Swiss League match in the future, i will announce it in the Swiss League Thread.

Mode:
This season the Swiss Volleyball League (or NLA) consists of 9 teams. They will play each other (home and away) in the Qualification Round until the end of the year.
After that (January and February), the best 5 teams of the Qualification Round will play the Playoff Round. In the Playoff Round these 5 top teams will play again each other (home and away). The first ranked team of the Qualification Round will start in this Playoff Round with 3 points, the second ranked with 2 points, the third ranked with 1 point and the other 2 teams with zero points. The teams ranked 6th to 9th place after the Qualification Round will do exactly the same in a Playout Round to determine the places from 6 to 9 of the league.
After that (March), the two best ranked teams after this Playoff Round will compete in a best-of-five to become Swiss Champion. The 3rd and 4th ranked team after the Playoff Round will compete in a best-of-three for the bronze medal. For the 5th ranked team the season will be over after the Playoff Round.
Last season the 5 teams in the Playoff Round were: Volero, NUC, Köniz, VFM and Kanti. They seem also to be the favourites to reach the Playoff Round this season. But Sm'Aesch Pfeffingen and TSV Düdingen (Düdingen has had bad luck with injuries of several players) maybe still have the potential to surprise.
I dont remember who was their opponents, but I knew that they won first match. If Igtisadchi and OMSK qualify they will meet in next round

According to a reliable source who i've asked for it, Montreux Volley Masters 2013 will take place from 28 May to 2 June 2013 (At the condition, that enough top teams show interest in participating. Negotiations in this regard are underway.).
