The only italian OH who can be compared to Lyneel and Clevenot is Lanza in this ECH! Let's be serious guys! Randazoo, Botto and Antonov are average players, nothing more! I would give money to France in in order to receive even Marechal

OMG Really???????????? Do you really think FIVB has anything to do with this and they are the one to blame?
Yes, if FIVB was a serious institution, it would disqualify players who sign 2 contracts in the same market session -
What happened to Bolivar with Lyneel, and what is happening now to Jastrzebski with Tillie and Resovia with Perrin... Well, that's a scandal. Shame on FIVB

If Brazil had Egonu then she'll be the MVP.
The reason she make a lot of errors cause Lucia and Caterina can't hit high balls during a very bad transition.
If Brazil had Egonu, the mistakes will be a lot less on her because the balls won't be forced all to her.
A medal of gold, a medal of silver, Egonu still has claws -
When was the last time Italy Men won any gold medal? The women won back in 2011 right?
2005 Eurovolley. -
And the same thing happened in the Men's Final of Rio 2016. I am still recovering from that match (mostly because Gianelli is my baby)
Indeed, and look at Cev Cups final matches this year: 4 defeats by 4 Italian teams. Again, we LOVE the silver colour IT's more elegant, more sophisticated -
It's our brand In Italy we don't like the GOLD medals

As much as I try to like Egonu I feel like she hurts her team more than she helps.. She makes more errors than points.. And it's not like she gets digged or soft blocked, she either scores the point or makes an error.. She's also nowhere to be found in defense, even for simple balls, she overpasses them, she makes too many serving errors.. I would preffer a weaker, but solid OPP who can try and tip/roll the ball, dig some balls, get a rebounce from the block, then hit with full force all the time
Who do you suggest we should line up? With all his defects, Egonu is the best Opp we can put on the field in this moment -
How about Stephen Maar? He posted a goodbye/thanking Poadova message on his instagram. Why won`t he stay and did he get any good offers?
This was his first season as pro, and he did extremely well.
9th best reception. (6th among OH).
10th best scorer.
10th best spiker.
14th best server.
18th best blocker ( 2nd among spikers). These numbers are fantastic for a rookie, but I guess it does not matter when you are a Canadian? I`m sure if he was American or maybe Brazilian all the top teams would be fighting to sign him and he would be getting tons of offers from everywhere.
Well, actually I consider Stephen Maar the best rising star outside hitter of the season, after Clevenot. I would like to hire him for the line-up of Modena, even better than Urnaut IMHO. I assure you that, even if he's not American/Brazilian, in Italy we consider him very much -
Colaci officially in Perugia!!!!
By Perugia official Fb page
If Trento hires Shoji, the Italian league will have not only the best setters in the world, but also the best liberos: Grebennikov, Shoji and Colaci. -

It's not official, but Rado Stoytchev will be our coach next season. He's already in Modena
-
ACH Ljubljana was the biggest outsider on CL FF in last 10 years IMO
What about the 2007 final Tours - Friedrichshafen? Who would have said at the beginning? -
Samuele Papi and Hristo Zlatanov say good bye to this sport

So with great certainty I can say that the days when Mladost Zagreb beat Sisley Treviso with Bernardi, Zwerver, Tofoli,Vermiglio, Fomin, Gardini etc. (epic match for 3rd place back in 1996/1997) are gone and won't repeat ever again. Just to say, Sisely won scudetto that season
Nope. We did -
Yes I'm aware of that rule anyway, I'm just not comfortable with this rule.
Could anyone please remind me, except volleyball, at which brances host is automatically plays at final four?
waterpoloYavor. Ok

This week's schedule:
4th April / 19:30 / Belgorod (RUS) - Zenit (RUS)
5th April / 19:30 / Berlin Volleys (GER) - Dinamo Moscow (RUS)
5th April / 20:30 / Modena (ITA) - Civitanova (ITA)
Modena and Civitanova are already having playoff series at Italy (series tied 1-1). Zenit and Belgorod just played each other last week. I'm not comfortable with same countrys' teams play with each other at champions league.Final four be like with 2 Russians and 2 Italian teams(if Moscow manages to eliminate Berlin). I hope they don't match at semi finals.
I'm sorry, but they are going to face each others. There's already the rule according to which Cev doesn't allow more than 2 teams from the same country in the semifinals and more than 1 in the final. This rule has been created 15 years ago in order to avoid all-italian finals -
As far as i remember he renewed his contract at JW a couple of weeks ago, together with Hidalgo Oliva and Kampa.
He is a tall lefty with a quick arm, good jump and a very impressive spike reach, consistenly high scoring with good percentages for JW this season. Could probably become better in ball control and decision making but he is still young enough to do so.
The lack of experience might be an issue when we talk about playing for a team who wants to win titles but we might already be a bit smarter after, hopefully, polish playoffs and NT season. His physical attributes are surely impressive.
Thanks on youtube he looks good (as everybody else), anyway it's only a rumor
