The team is training and playing together since September and Hooker arrived just this month. I understand why Lorenne started. I think Hooker will gradually become starter though

I haven't watched enough of Claudina but seeing her in the last couple of matches this season I dont really like her setting. Maybe because she is not the quickest, but her setting options are suspect at times, and also the ball she sets has no momentum/tempo on it . The hitters constantly have to check their their run up because the set never seems to match how the hitters are moving, or the pace of the play at that point. I found watching her really frustrating!
There seems to be more of a spread of talent in the Brazilian league this year which hopefully should mean a lot more tighter tighter matches. In terms of just pace and level of play in the women's leagues however, it seems to me Turkey and Italy are quite a step further than the other leagues, although Brazil's middles remain strong.

Suelen and Garay playing really well. Carli is gaining confidence. Rosamaria is a liability in reception but when someone yell at her she remember how to do things.

Bosetti or Pietrini. Egonu instead of Sylla. Right now Pietrinis reception isnt good enough, but maybe in the future, like 2020.
After all the stellar progression Sylla made, why do you think she wont be one of OHs? Egonu is a killer as Opp, it does not make any sense to bring her to OH and lose power both in reception and attack. Valentina Diouf is showing a huge potential, but, remember, we saw this before. If Diouf return to NT, she needs to be patient and work, step-by-step, especially when we are seeing such a great connection in the NT right now.

Since WC Carli thinks that is forbidden to play with middle. Lets hope that she gains confidence, because it hurts seeing her playing with Ellen but avoiding to set to Fabiana and Carol

Yes, kind of. Mineiro doesnt have a final but this two team won both of their matches. So the winner will be the champion

Why was Valquiria not invited to the NT? Sge was good last season, and she's playing great in Sesi this season too. I know Saraelen hasn't shown a great progress, but I would invite her too considering how bad Bia performed. Mayhara was and still is a must IMO
YES, 100% YES, Valquiria is a MONSTER of a player, she definitely deserves to be in the NT. I like Saraelen, but I think she has a poor mentality, she can turn off of the game pretty quick and loses stability. I agree with your opinion about Mayhara too, I think that every single middle block who works with Bernandinho deserves a chance to be in NT, because he can turn MBs into gold.

I don't know if Wolosz is the best, but she is the most enjoyable to watch. She makes look so easy to set amazing, she is wonderful and has so much chemistry with everyone. De Krujff looks likes she has never had an injury, played really well. And De Gennaro is a legend, nothing more to say about her

It was such a high class volleyball match! If I was so nervous in the last two sets, I really cant imagine how were our italian and chinese friends in the forum!
In the previa, we already knew this could have been a long match. But now with so much drama! If the italians lost 10 kgs in the tie-break against Japan, cant imagine how thin they are now!

What about Busa? I didnt know that she was playing for the netherlands, because she definitely didnt play for Serbia today. It was dreadful!.
And about you guys critizing Zhu's behavior on court, its just fine to me. What i cant handle is Boskovic's behavior, so much cocky for my taste

Italy was invincible, then lose to Serbia in a game that means nothing and all of a sudden they definitely will lose against China? This 2 games today mean nothing. And we are talking about volleyball, a NT can lose against any opponent ou win against any opponent just because they had a good/bad day.

usa sucks. they just can't kill the ball. the only difference between two teams so far is zhu ting is killing it. where's hooker these days
She is pretending to play in Brazilian Superliga for a couple season. She will be in Osasco this season but her last was really inconsistent
