Well, the good news is that Arina is starting... The bad is that Malygina does too....
-
Kinda irrelevant, but, judging from the match center for BRA-RUS, Goncha, Startseva, and Fetisova are not on the roster today for Russia.
-
This commentator heavily mispronounces some names... but, otherwise, his reactions are quite entertaining
-
Many good rallies in this match
-
Why does Sobolska get to start EVERY match?
-
That was like a repeat of the CEV Olympic qualifying tournament final... we all had high expectations of a good match that could go either way that ended up just being frustrating to watch. All pins from both sides (minus Ebrar, of course) very inconsistent. Substitutions and timeouts at the wrong times. Endless service errors (and errors in general) by both teams. Shaky service reception. Overall, kind of a mess.
Turkey's blocking was good, as well as Schölzel and Ebrar's performances, and Weitzel's serve. That was it.

Once again. From 5-10 to 11-10.
-
You can always count on Germany blowing up their lead, regardless of how big it is.

TUR-GER 3-2
DOM-KOR 3-1
BEL-POL 3-2
SRB-THA 3-0
CHN-CAN 3-2
USA-NED 3-1
ITA-JPN 1-3
BRA-RUS 3-1
-
Has Bra-Jpn started?
-
I sense another tiebreaker...
-
Belgium wins in 5!
-
Oh Belgium... from being 3-5 points ahead to losing the set 31-33...
-
No Grobelna again for Belgium
-
That set was painful to watch
-
I just realized Wilavan plays as libero
-
THA-NED: 0-3 (No comments)
BEL-DOM: 3-1 (could be 3-0, if Belgium plays like they did against Russia. Could also be 1-3, or 2-3, if Braylin were to play)
CHI-GER: 2-3 (could also go the other way around, if Germany is once again unable to close a set, like against Russia)
BRA-JPN: 3-1 (that is, if both Gabi and Tandara improve their performance, otherwise I see a tiebreaker that could go either way)
CAN-TUR: 0-3 (Once again, no comments)
KOR-POL: 1-3 (This could also go 5, depending on how KYK/Smarzek/Stysiak perform)
SRB-USA: 0-3 (Serbia could probably take a set, if they play against a USA lineup similar to the one that played against Canada)
RUS-ITA: 3-1 (or 3-0, if Koroleva and Fetisova find their good form/ Goncha scores 20+ points in the match)
-
I tuned in just in time to see "Koorago" score a point
-
Baijens and Timmerman have 16 points combined. Russian MBs (all 4 of them) have 2.
Edit:Make them 3.
