Toray's Shimokitazawa duo better come through and even if Mayu underperforms this season she's still likely to make the cut because she's already a media darling. I also want Nagaoka to pull through but I don't wanna expect too much from her. There's lots of secrets surrounding her ongoing treatment and she's also apparently consulting some American doctor on how to properly land a la Ben Patch as per Nakada's orders

Olympic Channel / Tokyo 2020's official website released a new feature of Araki (Oct. 15) in which they directly talk about Japan not having an ace, they mention Boskovic, Zhu Ting and Egonu. Erika also talks about the lack of an ace in the video which she already mentioned in her last interview. The whole tone of the first part is kinda self-deprecating talking about their own team but then there's also the whole "Japan Way" aka Nakada's Way which puts emphasis on backattacks and speed

Foluke just did an IG live which lasted like 15 minutes or less. It was pretty quick, I didn't catch the first 5 minutes. It was basically just a Q&A session. She says she's in good condition and has been training with the team.

She doesn't like the notion of rivals, doesn't focus on rivalry or the other teams, she just likes competing in general. I don't think she knows the other teams aside from Annie's team lol.

Anyway it looks like Hisamitsu is highlighting both her and Nagaoka's return. I think this will be the first time they'll play together. I mean Hisamitsu is already milking Nagaoka's "restart" with a 2nd batch of limited Welcome Back Miyu shirts after the initial stock ran out within 12 hrs and fans demanded more

Hisamitsu also ordered a mandatory FIVB feature for Foluke a week ago

JVA has never closed their comment section before right? I checked it out and hers is the only one closed. What did they say? It must have been extremely personal to the extent that Hisamitsu demanded they disable comments.

yeah...i think this is a first. idk what he and the others said, i never saw the comments. but this already started when ishii was used to as the main rep for tokyo olympics for women's NT . it's not an isolated case because even her twitter was trashed by trolls. the interest rate for the women's NT has also fallen ever since Ishii became the main rep and the crowd favorites Kurogo and Koga got injured and Miyashita getting excluded from big games

Nakada has a message for everyone this season. It'll broadcast via Gaora Sports on Sat/Sun. I wish these things would get subbed but it's not like Gaora will even upload it on their youtube.

also some people pointed out on twitter that shit went down under Ishii's JVA post. It got so bad they actually closed the comment section a couple of hours ago:what: apparently one of the staff from 一般財団法人全日本大学バレーボール連盟 commented something really nasty which pretty much became a chain effect of negativity targeting ishii. The staff is related to the V.League MC, Motoko Obayashi :( and because of that. she deleted her post on IG of the Women's V league

Cool. Thanks. I didn't know SAGA played PFU. (or did I? :/ ) I heard about the Toray but didn't see anything about streams.

Nomoto missed half the season last year for some reason. Rostered but didn't play. She's a good offensive player but SAGA is stacked with swingers, and she doesn't seem to have NT charisma. It is weird.

No streams for both matches just the one with Saitama which is basically a Springs made to win production

They had the opportunity to bless us with an Ebata and Nagaoka photo but didn't bother. The one with Yamagishi and Uchiseto is as good as it gets

PFU vs Toray yikes. Does PFU have any promising players?

Why doesn't V. League upload the matches on their official youtube? That should be priority content that they should provide. CVA has at least 10 min videos on bilibili. seriously wth are those 1 minute clips for is v league running on tiktok timer

I want to say Haruka Yamashita their setter but I can't fully say that she's actually good, I just like her oops.

For V.League anything that exceeds a minute is privilege abuse ;(
