Erdem at 36 is still playing great.

I just don’t see how a reverse sweep is possible
They had chances to get back on track overall, they just mismanaged. Very hard, but not impossible. I mean, I saw Scandicci come back from 13-8 in a tie break on the road against Conegliano...

How was the first set for Eczacıbaşı? I've started to watch from set 2 and hadn't a great impression from them so far.
-
Monza is really one of a kind team, they simply refuse to give up! Loeppky and Maar led by example once again, but everyone looked so focused and ready to battle. Surely facing a more tense and mistake prone Perugia helped, still you have to take the opportunity. Speaking of Perugia, the best news from today for them is having León back on a good form. I feel like Lorenzetti will need him in order to have the better of Monza.

Haak's expression at the end says it all: Conegliano is back on track but only after a good sweat. I hope that fault from Nwakalor won't come back to haunt Scandicci and shift the momentum.
-
Look at Bardaro: nice serve and nice dig to set up the kill for Conegliano. Another tie break, this series is so intense!

May I say Herbots is doing what Maar did for Monza against Trento?
-
Scandicci is Scandiccing Conegliano.

I'm positively impressed by Antropova so far: not her best day at serving, but very mature display overall.
-
Yeah i see that you are going in that way, but you are wrong, it is not about Ognjenovic, it is actually about Antropova, they need her and puting Diop in is sensless at this stage, i mean i'm not even evaluating the double sub in general for Scandicci just said that it was really bad move which is like a fact as they lost 6 points in a row after that.
Again, I wasn't saying it was good or I would have done the some... I was just reflecting on how the sub has usually worked so far and on the reasons behind it.
-
They almost loose a set because of that, so definitely he should be careful with that and at least put Ruddins instead of Dioup, girls is not for this level (at lest not yet).
But anyway, what a comeback from Scandicci.
Usually it works better than that. Clearly you want Ognjenović in as much as possible, but nowadays you have to sip her.
Great comeback, I'm bit surprised to see Conegliano being the messier team in a crucial phase once again.

Blocking from Scandicci looks good so far. They got the first lead with a couple of touches against Plummer and now they can get an early lead because of that.
-
I know that Maja is a big liability in block, but Barbolini ruined everything with this double sub.
I think it's not just about blocking, he's probably trying to keep her as fresh as possible, especially after a five set match.
-
I repeat, great match by Washington: not only she had a super positive impact, but she also had a couple of key defences on match point. There's still some work to do for Scandicci, but today it was too much of a chance to pass. We have a series guys, get your popcorn ready.

Great match by Washington.

I did not see Conegliano blowing away a comfortable lead coming...

Can Parrocchiale retire RIGHT NOW?
She can play if she wants, just not in a top team.
-
Antropova is running out of gas.

What a wasted chance by Scandicci. I really don't see them winning the tie break
Way too messy in these late rallies, but I won't write them off completely. They still managed to win a set after trailing 6-1.
