Poor Plummer, that shanked pass at 23:24 will lead to seven more years of bashing in this forum
I mean, Scandicci was looking for that all set long and I said before she's no specialist, it was meant to happen sooner or later.
-
With the level of passing they're having Scandicci is getting almost the maximum out of every situation. Sure, they let fall some easy ball every now and then (for example the one at 4-1), but still difficult to ask for more. Let's see if they'll keep targeting Plummer too.

just because she isn’t best fit for Imoco doesn’t means she wouldn’t be good fit for other teams.
Agreed and if I may add something I don't think Santarelli would've kept her for so long if he didn't believe she was the right fit. Unfortunately it's easier to disintegrate an atom than a prejudice and Plummer will always have to live with the name of weak passer, but compared from her first season in Conegliano she did great improvements, to the point she had matches where she was the one who passed the most and still kept valid numbers. She'll never be a specialist, but she's a player you'd like to rather have by your side instead of the opposite side of the net.

As I said, everyone reads it as they want...
On the other hand, Velasco is a "wise man": he knows what to say, what not to say and how to say it and not say it...
I've already read tons of criticisms because of this statement, that's why I have very little confidence about seeing something different from the usual one-and-done display. Expectations from fans and federation combined with toxic press is a lethal mix that even a legend like Velasco might have problems to deal with.

Anthoulī is staying in Chieri: https://www.chieri76.it/martha…e-mutua-fenera-chieri-76/, Caprara is officially introduced as new UYBA coach: https://www.volleybusto.com/news-dettaglio.php?id=2755.

Haak quite outshined everybody, but Plummer was lowkey deadly too.
-
Haak with the winner was just meant to be. Scandicci has to believe Game 5 will happen though, they seem to be in a great shape physically and mentally they're not quitting. Even with a fourth set played to a lesser degree they still ended it quite close to Conegliano.
-
you can always use two liberos simultaneously, instead of Parrocchiale all the time
I guess it's simply not in Barbolini's agenda.
Haak is simply a woman on a mission today.
-
I don't like the way Barbolini behaves as if they have no other libero
I like Armini very much, but putting her in right now feels like treating her as cannon fodder.
-
That dig from Antropova deserved much better luck. She's really giving me Michieletto vibes on defence.
-
Almost all final series this year are tied and excited to watch; Italy, Türkiye, Germany and Greece
I must catch up with the last two I suppose...
-
That easy ball that almost fell in front of Nwakalor assumed a whole different meaning for Scandicci.
-
This series is basically giving back all the drama we missed in the final act of the past seasons.
-
Haak is almost reached 30 points, that's crazy!
-
Hats off to Carol for the effort, but Santarelli has every right to be mad.
-
It sucks so bad to have missed the first set because of work...
-
Antropova made some insane digs yesterday. Is she the best defender ever over 200 cm tall?
I'm switching to men's, but Michieletto is quite agile for his height.
-
Nah. That way he is free to come to Milano.
I don't know if that necessary would be a good thing for him...

I feel a bit bad for Lavarini. You don't see often someone achieveing a domestic double and yet being sacked because of a golden set lost after a match played without probably your most charismatic player. I'm a bit surprised about the awards for Vargas, she looked quite far from the superb form she had last summer.
