    Maja Aleksic for ossrb

    - We started training 3 weeks ago, we are very excited and I’ve heard many girls say they couldn’t wait to return to NT and I’m very glad to hear it. I also couldn’t wait to be back, to return to this work which feels very good since I’ve had longer break.

We’re traveling to Italy in less then a week to play preparation torunament. It’s great oportunity for us to see where we stand against the best European teams Italy, Turkey and Poland. We’ll have more time to prepare for ECH through VNL, 3 weeks and hopefully final tournament which is our goal. Of course we won’t be fully ready for this first torunament (in Italy) but with VNL after that we’ll hopefully be fully ready for ECH.

I guess she’ll be the captain for VNL

    Thanks!

Wish she leaked the VNL squad already:P

I'm sure Straube is perfectly fine with nobody caring for her career :rolll:

Meanwhile DVV posted an article about the start of NT trainings and they just keep getting worse every year. All they wrote about the roster is that right now many young talents get to show themselves in NT training and the experienced ones are going to join in the next weeks. Toni Stautz must love being called a young talent

Anyway the good news is that both friendly matches vs Netherlands on 16/17 May are going to be streamed on Youtube :super:

she wouldn't sign with a marketing agency if she didn't care - the one ran by florian, athlegency

but anyway enough about that. it's not something anyone can control. she's weird that way so be it.

one million for meh teams is indeed insane. the audience better come through at least if they're holding it there lmao it would be embarassing af if it didn't meet the minimum

I don’t think it’s the same in every league. In USA for example, there are highschool teams and college programs where players compete in younger ages. I’m talking about a professional club having their own U18, U16 teams. I don’t think any of the LOVB or PVF teams have their own U18 or U16 teams.

Anyway, this is bit off topic now, I’ll let Conegliano worry about their future.

You don't have to worry lol it's not even an issue. Nobody is talking about it except the people here. You won't find anyone fussing about it in any other platform, websites, tiktok, x nowhere.... nobody has to worry about a thing because their system is pretty solid

Fornal is always mediocre at best in the NT, Semeniouk is constantly flopping in key matches and Sliwka... Do I have to remind to everyone what happened the previous season? Semeniouk flopped both in semifinal and in the bronze medal match and he was benched, not for the healthy Szalpuk, but for Fornal that could not even JUMP:sos::sos::sos:. They need an alternative solution in the OH position.

Fornal's mentality is what's making him mediocre. He's like a male Herbots

I don't agree with those saying that she can do anything with her career, that's disrespectful to the athletes that have sacrificed so much and didn't just "choose whatever" or like Egonu if she ever chose to play for say Africa you know for a fact she would be crucified for that and the racist jokes will never end. Germany is not a team that can afford to lose their players to lower leagues they have to be able to keep their key players on their toes. They already don't have that many choices to begin with.

I'm a fan so while I respect it I can also want to see her stay in a top league and obviously if you're not a fan you wouldn't care if she retired tomorrow.

We should probably wrap this up once Avid wakes up...

    Anyway again congrats to Austin!

Wait isn't Gray still injured? I watched parts of the game but I didn't notice her, I thought it was Alberti on court!

I meant because before she would show up with crutches and now she's walking on her own. She's still recuperating

You can see her in various videos walking fine
