Brazilian League 2011/2012

    Is Natalia expected to come back for play-offs? Without her Unilever's chances to take the title are slim to none, imo.
    If Hooker is out for the season things will become very interesting and unpredictable in Brazilian league with no clear favourite.

    I didn't follow Brazilian league this season but could anyone tell me what's going on with Sykora? How did she play in the league? Do you think she has the chance to make the Olympic roster?

    Yes, there is still no oficial date yet, but she is expected to come back for Playoffs, I saw her this saturday in RJX match, she is still using crutches to help to walk, but she is already without the band, and also she already being able to support her foot in the floor. She said in an interview, she is already working physicly her arms.


    So, we hope she can come back for this season still.


    I think it is really soon to say who has the best chance to win the league.

    ITs funny you ask, just today she participate a sport tv shor here in Brasil. ^^ She seems great. ^^ She said she is 100% now, that before she was not felling so good, was to slow, and now she is not anymore. She also used to have some problems with her vision, and now she said Its perfect, that she is seeing everything. She is still not playing as starter player. She said she is letting that decision for the coach.


    But yeah, I think she has chances to be in Olympic roster indeed. I hope she can start playing in start six soon...the thing is that Volei Futuro still didnt loose, so maybe the coach is not wanting to change the roster right now...

    Says she will be out for one month, she traumatize her hand, after punching a table during a discussion with her boyfriend in the phone. Also says she might travel back to USA to make more exams...


    But, acording to Sportv reporter, she didnt actually fracture her hand and will be back in 2 weeks, so no one actually knows...

    Hooker has an uncanny knack for getting into the news. 8|


    I thought she would know better than to self-inflict an injury :wall: But hopefully, lesson learned. And she is back healthy soon.

    Hm, I'm really impressed with "injury" of Hooker... But everyone has right for private life.
    And one question will there be a broadcasting of the Uni -Minas game on TV or somewhere ?

    In the begging of season Unilever doctors discovered that the tumor in her leg, in her shin, that took her away from NT season, had come back, so she had to make another surgery in the area to remove the tumor, and now she is still recovering. She is using this protection (though she dont use it all the time, cause she was not wearing in the last two games..hehehe), and have to use the help of the crutches. The tumor she had was benign, but caused her a lot of pain.

    BTW Unilever made a great game today, and won Minas 3x0!!!!! The hole team did well, specially in block! The team taticly studied Minas very well, Herrera could not make a good game, always a triple block over her! And REgiane was just amazing! She did her best match in.....I dont know 3 years probably!!!!!:)


    And SESI won Volei Futuro 3x2, so Unilever is now leader!!! :)
